Best Buy teases “big gaming announcement” for Monday

Best Buy Canada teased a new game reveal through its Canadian Reward Zone Gamers Club Twitter account on Monday. That turned out to be Batman: Arkham Origins. Today, the retailer is teasing yet another gaming announcement.
Best Buy just wrote on Twitter:
Another big gaming announcement Monday! Any Gamers Club members have any ideas what it could be? #RZGC

Given that the first tease turned out to be related to a brand new game, Best Buy is probably teasing something similar here. FIFA 14? Something else?

Fire Emblem: Awakening 3DS puzzle now available in Europe

The same 3DS StreetPass Mii Plaza that was made available in North America a few months ago has now launched in Europe. After receiving a SpotPass notification, you should automatically receive the first puzzle piece.
Hit up the StreetPass Mii Plaza to fill the new puzzle. You can find it under Puzzle Swap in the “Play” section.

LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins teaser site open

LEGO City: Undercover came out for Wii U last month, but Nintendo still has one more game in the mini-series to ship. On April 21, LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins will be released for the 3DS.

Criterion not working on Need for Speed: Underground after all

Well, so much for the rumor that Criterion Games is working on a new version of Need for Speed: Underground. Criterion creative director Alex Ward took to Twitter earlier today in light of the recent speculation and indicated that the team has moved on from remakes and reboots.
He wrote:
Totally fake.Remakes and Reboots? #movedon

Criterion is working on a new racer – it’s just not Underground.
