Announced today, Mana Potion Studio and Pingle Studio will be releasing Becastled on Nintendo Switch. It’s expected to launch on October 23, 2025.

Becastled, a cozy-meets-challenging mix of city building and RTS-like tower defense, has previously been in Early Access for PC for over four years. For the full launch, it’ll come with expanded content, new challenges, an updated UI, and the culmination of the Sunfolk’s ancient war with the creatures of the Moon.

Madden NFL 26 trailer

Nintendo and EA are celebrating the launch of Madden NFL 26 on Switch 2 with a new trailer. This is a notable release given that the series has been absent on Nintendo platforms since the Wii U era.

Rooftops & Alleys physical

Rooftops & Alleys appeared on Nintendo Switch not too long ago digitally, but now a physical release is in the works as well. Microids is bringing the game to retail.

The title will be available physically as part of a “Dual Pack”. Along with a physical copy of the game, the package includes an additional game code, allowing you to invite a friend to join the adventure.

Dark Deity 2

Sword & Axe and indie.io just announced a Nintendo Switch version of Dark Deity 2, and we even have a release date. The game arrives on September 4, 2025.

The first entry in the series came to Nintendo Switch in 2022. Similar to the original, there are more turn-based battle offered in Dark Deity 2, which sees the continent of Verroa on the brink of war.

July 1: NIS America is localizing Cladun X3 for English release in the west on Nintendo Switch, the publisher just announced. A release is planned for later in 2025.

Cladun X3 was first announced last September. Japan has had the game since February of this year.

Gloomy Eyes

Untold Tales and ARTE France, along with developer Fishing Cactus and co-producers Atlas V, 3dar, and Be Revolution Gaming, have announced that Gloomy Eyes will launch on the Nintendo Switch on September 12.

Originally released in VR back in 2020, the game is now making its way to consoles, allowing players to experience it without a headset. Narrated by Colin Farrell, Gloomy Eyes tells the story of a sun that, tired of humanity, decides to disappear and never rise again, setting the stage for a moody and atmospheric puzzle adventure.

Outright Games has announced that Chicken Run: Eggstraction now has a release date for the Nintendo Switch. The stealth-action title, which picks up right after the events of Aardman’s 2023 film Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget, will launch on October 24.

Publisher and developer Hey! Kookaburra has announced that its chaotic local multiplayer party game Splatterbot will be arriving on the Nintendo Switch on September 4.

In Splatterbot, cleaning robots have gone completely rogue – and it’s your job to make the biggest mess possible. Up to four players can battle it out locally, using the environment and various power-ups to out-splatter their opponents and dominate the chaos.

Tiny Witch

We’ve heard from Creative Hand that Tiny Witch is coming to Nintendo Switch, and very soon at that. Look for it on September 10, 2025.

Tiny Witch is a cozy shop management game in which players create minions for dungeon master customers. By mixing the right resources,  you’ll make your clients walk away happy.
