Activision Blizzard King Microsoft acquisition

Original: United Kingdom antitrust regulator Competition and Markets Authority has now approved Microsoft’s transaction to acquire Activision Blizzard King.

This was the final step in getting the deal approved. It had received the go ahead in all other necessary countries, but was previously denied by the UK in April.

Super Bomberman R 2 update 1.2.2

Konami is back with a new update for Super Bomberman R 2, bringing the game up to version 1.2.2.

A number of adjustments are included. These include the selection of battle rules in Graded Match, the increase of Gems earned in Battle Offline from 50 to 100, and more.

F-Zero 99 update 1.0.2

Nintendo has issued a new update for F-Zero 99, and players can now get their hands on version 1.0.2.

This update is all about fixes. In particular, Nintendo has addressed a few key issues relating to ranks as well as some general improvements.

Original: The new Mario voice actor in Super Mario Bros. Wonder may have been discovered stemming from a new datamine. Nintendo said players would be able to find out who’s taken on the role from Charles Martinet when the game launches, but we seemingly won’t need to wait another week.

The game itself isn’t out yet, so you might be curious as to how a datamine could already exist. As it turns out, someone has managed to get their hands on the demo that recently popped up in stores across the country.

Sociable Soccer 24

Tower Studios will release Sociable Soccer 24 on Switch next month, the company announced today. It will be available digitally on November 16, 2023 with a physical version to follow in Q1 2024.

It was also announced today that the arcade action title has secured a licensing deal with FIFPRO providing over 10,000 licensed players from around the world.

Trombone Champ update 1.22A

Another update has been released for Trombone Champ, and players can access version 1.22A.

The big news is that “House of the Rising Sun” and “Hino Nacional Brasiliero!” have been added as new tracks. Also, the Trombone Workshop is accessible after beating the game. That’s along with Brazilian Portuguese support, an improvement, and fixes.

One Night: Burlesque release date

RedDeerGames has passed along the final release date for One Night: Burlesque. The game, a detective-style crime story, launches on November 3, 2023.

One Night: Burlesque was previously announced in September. RedDeerGames said it would be available by the end of 2023, but didn’t give any sort of window beyond that.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 DLC 2024

Original (10/11): A big update for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 has been announced for imminent release, and even more DLC is confirmed to be dropping in 2024. This comes as the game celebrates its seventh anniversary this year.

The new Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 update is planned for October 12. It will include the Festival of Universes event, “Cross Versus” Battle Mode, Awoken Skill Ultra Instinct, Avatar Level Cap Unlock, and feature improvements.

My Hero Ultra Rumble update

A new update is now available for My Hero Ultra Rumble.

The patch makes it so the time it takes to enter the lobby after searching for a lobby is reduced. A ton of balance changes have been implemented as well.
