Company of Heroes Collection gameplay

Fresh gameplay has arrived for Company of Heroes Collection. Feral Interactive brought the title to Switch this week, and we now have footage from the real-time strategy experience.

Double Dragon Collection physical

Double Dragon Collection, which was previously announced for Switch, is confirmed for physical release in select regions. Only Japan and Asia will be receiving the package, but fortunately it looks like English (and other languages) are included as well.

As a reminder, you’ll be getting six games here. It includes Double Dragon, Double Dragon II: The Revenge, Double Dragon III: The Sacred Stones, Double Dragon IV, Double Dragon Advance, and Super Double Dragon.

Gothic Classic update 1.0.2

If you’ve been playing Gothic Classic on Switch, you might be interested to hear that version 1.0.2 update has been made available.

The patch includes a number of improvements and a whole wave of fixes. Highlights are an improved field-of-view for widescreen resolutions, display rain corrections, and a camera mode legend.

Super Mario Bros. Wonder leak

There’s been another big leak for a Switch game in which the ROM has appeared online before launch, and now it’s Super Mario Bros. Wonder that’s affected.

Reports recently started to surface that some retailers have started to sell it early. Because of that, fans are starting to gain early access and someone went as far as to dump the whole thing online.

Serenity Forge and This I Dreamt uploaded a launch trailer for Long Gone Days. The game, a narrative-driven, anti-war RPG, made it to Switch this week.

Kickback Slug: Cosmic Courier

Bonus Stage Publishing, aPriori Digital, and Kittens in Timespace have announced Kickback Slug: Cosmic Courier for Switch. The title is due out on October 26, 2023.

Kickback Slug: Cosmic Courier is an avoidance-based physics game in which players fly across levels filled with increasingly difficult obstacles by using only the kickback from their weapons. There’ll be plenty of parcel collecting, deliveries, and boss battles.

Mario Sonic differences Iizuka

Sonic Superstars producer Takashi Iizuka has weighed in on the game’s close launch to Super Mario Bros. Wonder. In an interview with Automaton, he said that he was “surprised” that the two were releasing just a few days apart from each other.

Iizuka was asked about differences between the two franchises, and noted that they “are enjoyable in different ways.” He also sounded appreciative of the fans that have supported Sonic over the past few decades.
