Mario Kart 8 Deluxe update 2.4.0

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe just started distribution of its latest update, version 2.4.0.

The patch is highlighted by the new Booster Course Pass DLC. Eight more tracks across two cups have been added, along with new playable characters – specifically Kamek (Mario Kart Tour), Petey Piranha (Mario Kart Double Dash!!), and Wiggler (Mario Kart 7).

Even if you don’t plan on nabbing the DLC, you’ll want to download the update as some other aspects are included. These include performance improvements of some characters and vehicle customizations, adjusted invincibility time of some characters, lowered appearance rate of Mirror and 200cc races in Worldwide and Regional settings, and more.

Minecraft update 1.20.10

Minecraft is back with another update, and version 1.20.10 is pretty sizeable.

A bunch of improvements have now been implemented. Some of the highlights include how players can now sneak under 1.5 block gaps, shovels are no longer needed to craft Boats, more actions now emit vibrations detected by Sculk Sensors, and fixes to over 50 community-reported issues.

Jackbox Party Pack 10 Timejinx Hypnotorious

Two more additions to The Jackbox Party Party 10 have now been revealed – specifically Timejinx and Hypnotorious. These follow previous announcements of Tee K.O. 2 and FixyText.

Monolith Requiem of the Ancients

Monolith: Requiem of the Ancients is in development for Switch, publisher Versus Evil and developer C2 Game Studio announced today. The title is currently slated for early 2024.

Monolith: Requiem of the Ancients is an action RPG that has players going on an adventure across the mystical world Gliese which has been threatened by dark forces. Further information can be found in the following overview:

World of Horror physical

Fangamer will produce a physical version for World of Horror on Switch, the company has announced. This coincides with the upcoming digital launch.

Each copy will contain a copy of the game plus a few goodies. Buyers will get a reversible cover, instruction manual, and Old Gods art card set.

MythForce release date

Thanks to publisher Aspyr and developer Beamdog, we have a release date for MythForce. The first-person roguelite game will be hitting Switch on September 12, 2023.

MythForce has been in Early Access on PC, but the Switch version was only just revealed during a Nintendo Direct last month. A general 2023 launch window was provided.

Hellboy Web of Wyrd

Original (12/8): Publisher Good Shepherd Entertainment and developer Upstream Arcade have announced Hellboy Web of Wyrd, a a roguelite action adventure title. It will launch for Switch in the future.

Among Us update 2023.7.11

Innersloth has gone live with the next update for Among Us, version 2023.7.11.

The big highlight this time around is a new Quick Chat system. This new builder slides out from the right side of the screen, and a new favorite option is available. Also worth noting, the Ghostface collaboration for Scream has returned.

Neon White physical

Today, iam8bit and distribution partner Skybound Games, together with publisher Annapurna Interactive and developer Ben Esposito and Angel Matrix, announced a physical release for Neon White on Switch.

The title will be sold at all major retailers, and it includes an original 11 x 17 in. foldout poster and artwork by character artist Rebecca Ryan. Also planned is an iam8bit Edition featuring the game, five Neon White anime-style “character peeker” stickers, an exclusive cover sheet by character artist Rebecca Ryan, a soundtrack by Machine Girl.
