Shock Troopers 2nd Squad was the newest NeoGeo game on Switch having been added to the eShop today. Next week, Sengoku will be available. A listing on the European eShop shows a release date of June 15.

Here’s an overview:

“Sengoku is an action game released by SNK in 1991. Players will fight against past ghosts that have been revived to the present age in a devastated Washington City. Players can use special characters who are confirmed, after releasing them. Fighting by switching to Armor-clad Wolf, Samurai, or Ninja according to the situation will be your key to success.”

ACA NeoGeo Sengoku will cost $7.99 / €6.99 / £6.29.

ZeNfA Productions is still committed to the Wii U release of Drop It: Block Paradise. In Europe and Australia, a release date of June 22 has been announced. Pricing is set at €9.99 / £8.99.

As of now, Drop It: Block Paradise is without a release date in North America. ZeNfA Productions says it’s currently with Nintendo for testing, and is targeted for early July.

Microids is gearing up for some heavy support on Switch. The publisher announced several games for the platform today, including Gear.Club, Blacksad, the Syberia series, and Flashback – Remastered Edition. Syberia 3 for Switch was previously known, but the first two games are also coming.

These games will begin to release starting in Q3 this year all the way up through Q4 2018. Details and release windows for each game can be found below.

Shantae developer WayForward is working on a new game based on The Mummy for Switch. The Mummy Demastered will launch on the console and other platforms in August, publisher Universal Brand Development announced today.

Here’s an overview:

“The Mummy Demastered from WayForward, known for pixel games that bring the look and fun of classic arcades to modern consoles, is a platforming adventure game based on The Mummy. Launching in late August 2017 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Steam, players will enter a world of evil as an elite Prodigium agent who is tasked to take down Princess Ahmanet’s army of the undead and save the world at any cost. Players will explore dark forests, maze-like military compounds and the sandstorm-filled streets of London in this retro-inspired adventure.”

Mr. Shifty’s long-awaited patch is out now on Switch. Primarily, the update is intended to improve the game’s performance, including frame rate.

The patch should be downloaded automatically. However, you can also invoke the update process manually on Switch. Once applied, your game should be at version 1.0.3.
