Valve reached out to Nintendo first before Dolphin emulator was removed from Steam

Much discussion has taken place after Valve took down the Dolphin emulator listing last week on Steam. However, new information has come to light revealing that the move was technically spurred on by Valve initially.
Rather than Nintendo filing a DMCA, the GameCube and Wii emulator was removed after Valve brought it to Nintendo’s attention. The Verge obtained emails showing how the Big N’s lawyers especially took issue with the use of cryptographic keys.

QUByte Interactive announced today that it’s teaming up with Post Mortem Pixels on a Switch version of Talk to Strangers. The title is slated for June 8, 2023.
Talk to Strangers is a game of everyday survival in which players work for Sunny Morning and sell products. Conversations in the game impact certain stats in the game.

Publisher DreadXP and developer Teebowah Games have not only announced a Switch version of Fishing Vacation, but released it as well. It’s up on the Switch eShop now.
Fishing Vacation was originally made for Fishing Horror Jam 2020 and came out as an expanded standalone game on Steam last April. It has elements of a fishing adventure, atmospheric horror, and humor.

Yasha Haddaji no longer Nintendo Russia CEO

There’s been a lot of controversy surrounding Yasha Haddaji over the years, but it’s now been confirmed that he’s no longer the company’s CEO in Russia. His contract ended on May 31.
Haddaji was most recently accused that he formed a side company, Achivka, to circumvent an official sales ban. Haddaji’s conduct also came into question in 2018 with other allegations were swirling around as well.
Something important to note is that while he’s no longer an official employee, Haddaji will remain in the picture as Achivka will provide customer support for Nintendo in Russia. You can read the official statement below.
Splatoon 3 update out now (version 4.0.1), patch notes

Another update for Splatoon 3 is here, with Nintendo making version 4.0.1 available.
Version 4.0.0 previously went live earlier in the week in time for Sizzle Season 2023. However, a couple of issues were discovered. Nintendo was on the case quickly and issued a follow-up patch to take care of those problems. You’ll want to download and install the update for the smoothest experience.
