Disney Dreamlight Valley Pride of the Valley update

Original (4/3): Gameloft has shared patch notes for the next Disney Dreamlight Valley update, which is known as Pride of the Valley. It should be available on April 5, 2023.

The update introduces The Lion King Realm with Simba and Nala, a Star Path based around Disney Parks, and more. That’s along with performance improvements, bug fixes, and other technical improvements.

Today, publisher Modus Games and developer Crackshell announced that Hammerwatch II is in development for Switch. The title is slated for this summer.

No Man's Sky Interceptor update 4.2

The latest update for No Man’s Sky has just been made available, and players can now access version 4.2 – known as Interceptor.

Here players can explore corrupted Sentinel planets, fight a legion of new robotic guardians, hijack their technology, steal their ships, harvest their resources, destroy their freighters, and more. There’s plenty more here as well including the standard round of bug fixes.

Arcade Archives Rezon

Hamster will release Rezon on Switch as the latest Arcade Archives title, the company has confirmed. It’s due out worldwide on April 6, 2023.

Rezon, which was made by Allumer, first debuted in 1991. It’s a side-scrolling shoot ’em up that’s reminiscent of R-Type. The game takes place on Earth as players defend the planet from an alien invasion. Across six stages, players control the SR-91 space fighter. Note that Rezon is known for its tough difficulty.

Arcade Archives Rezon will be available via the Switch eShop. Pricing is set at $7.99 / €6.99 / £6.29.

Tales From Space: Mutant Blobs Attack physical

One of Drinkbox’s older Switch titles is getting a physical release, as Limited Run Games has announced plans to produce cartridges for Tales From Space: Mutant Blobs Attack.

Tales From Space: Mutant Blobs Attack previously debuted on Switch in 2019. After this title, Drinkbox would go on to make Guacamelee, Severed, and Nobody Saves the World.

Fire Emblem Heroes No Matter Where summoning event

Fire Emblem Heroes has just announced No Matter Where as its next summoning event. It will include Hector: Sworn Friend (voiced by Patrick Seitz, art by Hagiya Kaoru), Eliwood: Pledged Friend (voiced by Yuri Lowenthal, art by azu – taro), Rebecca: Breezy Scamp (voiced by Hunter MacKenzie Austin, art by Pukyunosuke), and Mark: Winds of Hope (voiced by Wendee Lee, art by Wada Sachiko).

Hector’s lineup of skills are Valiant War Axe, Armored Beacon, Ostia’s Heart, Vengeful Fighter 4, and D/R Far Save 3. Eliwood has Fiery War Sword, Luna, Spd/Def Clash 4, S/D Near Trace 3, and Inborn Idealism. Rebecca can learn Gusty War Bow, Moonbow, Atk/Spd Finish 3, and Null Follow-Up 3. Finally, for Mark it’s Total War Tome, Iceberg, Remote Mirror, Sabotage A/R 3, and Canto Control 3.

Fire Emblem Engage update 2.0.0

Nintendo and Intelligent Systems just started distribution of a new version 2.0.0 update for Fire Emblem Engage.

The update is highlighted by the availability of the Fell Xenologue DLC, which can be accessed as part of the game’s Expansion Pass. It will be playable after finishing the sixth chapter and unlocking the ability to transform items using the Ancient Well in the Somniel. Aside from new story content, it includes the enchanted and mage cannoneer unit classes plus a variety of items.

Cavity Busters

Today, publisher Jandusoft announced that it’s bringing Cavity Busters to Switch. The game will be available digitally on April 20, 2023.

Cavity Busters is a roguelite bullet hell shooter “where you use your one and only tooth to chomp the cavity infested enemies.” Read more about it below.

Digital Eclipse is still working on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection, and has just released the latest update for the game.

One of the major highlights is online play for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: The Manhattan Project. There’s also additional art and more ads for the Turtles’ Lair.
