Kid Tripp originally started out as a mobile game. But later this year, Digger Dan publisher Four Horses will be bringing out a 3DS version.

Kid Tripp is a platform autorunner with 20 levels scattered across twenty levels and four themed worlds. The 3DS version intends to feature 60 frames per second and support for stereoscopic 3D.

Collavier previously brought Comic Workshop and Painting Workshop to 3DS. This week, they’ll be releasing another creation tool: Anime Workshop. Nintendo’s website lists it for June 8 with a $7.99 price point.

By using Anime Workshop, players can make pixel art, create objects, make animation, and share the results with others. You’ll even be able to post animations online.

At BitSummit a couple of weeks ago, Inti Creates CEO Takuya Aizu hosted a special stage show. It was here where Mighty Gunvolt Burst and Azure Striker Gunvolt: Striker Pack on Switch were officially revealed. Before the two announcements were made, Aizu was able to talk about how Blaster Master Zero came to be.

Sunsoft originally reached out to Inti Creates about the remake. However, the company was pretty busy at the time, and only said that they’d think about it.

Update: Added in Sunday’s updates.

Shakedown: Hawaii is planned for Switch, but we also can’t forget about the 3DS version. Just recently, Vblank Entertainment posted a short clip of a new zoomed out camera option on the handheld, which you can view below. The studio recommends using it only with XL systems.

Inti Creates held a live stream on Twitch this week and showed off Mighty Gunvolt Burst with plenty of gameplay. Watch 18 minutes of footage from the recording below.

Vblank Entertainment prepared a new Shakedown: Hawaii video showing off the game’s color options. Several choices will be included, such as the one pictured above. The full set can be seen in the video below.

Nintendo and HAL Laboratory have three Kirby games on 3DS to celebrate the series’ 25th anniversary. Team Kirby Clash Deluxe is out now. A new multiplayer action game will follow later in the year. In between the two is Kirby’s Blowout Blast, coming to the 3DS eShop this summer.

In Nintendo Dream this month, when asked how Kirby’s Blowout Blast compares to the sub-game Kirby 3D Rumble in Kirby: Planet Robobot, HAL Laboratory’s Shinya Kumazaki answered that while both are digital games, the former will have an overall volume that’s more like a normal packaged release. The sub-game was made more as an experiment on seeing whether the epitome of Kirby games can be enjoyed in 3D. They had been receiving requests to create a 3D game, and Kumazaki also wanted to challenge himself in making it.

A few new games out came out this week on the Wii U and 3DS eShops. If you’re interested in checking out what’s new in screenshot form, take a look at the gallery below.
