3DS eShop

Last month, we found out about the very neat-looking 3DS game 80’s Overdrive. It was clear that the game is a racer… but that’s pretty much all we knew. To find out more, we reached out to the developer.

Just three team members are working on 80’s Overdrive: artist/designer Rafa? Kemnitz, a programmer who also handles music and sound effects, and “a part-time hardcore game tester.” Insane Code, the developer’s programmer company, will be publishing.

It’s now easier than ever to buy a game from Nintendo’s website and have it download to your system. Even better, your eShop balance can be used during the purchase process. Things are much more intuitive than they used to be!


The latest issue of Famitsu has shared a listing of the top 30 best-selling games in Japan for the month of February 2016. You can check out the full results below.

Nintendo of Europe has now added functionality to its website that makes it possible to purchase eShop titles. You can visit the main hub here.

Buying a title is simple. Just sign in with your Nintendo Account and visit a game page. You’ll see how much it costs, along with how many My Nintendo points you can earn.

Fire Emblem Fates – New DLC Map – Vanguard Dawn – A trial ground that uses the Elincia’s Gambit stage from Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, this new map is now available to download in the Fire Emblem Fates game for only $1.99.

Fire Emblem Fates – Map Pack 1 – As a reminder, anyone who owns either Fire Emblem Fates: Birthright or Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest can purchase Map Pack 1 at the Dragon’s Gate in the game for $17.99 to get access to 11 DLC maps plus bonus content as they are released weekly through April 21. Map Pack 1 content is priced at more than $24 when purchased individually.
