A look at some of next week’s North American Nintendo Downloads

Nintendo’s website confirms some of the North American downloads that will be going live on the Wii U and 3DS eShops next Thursday.
Here’s a quick look at the titles we’re expecting:

Super Mario Bros. 3 offers 2-player Download Play on 3DS

Did you know that Super Mario Bros. 3 supports 2 players via Download Play? Perhaps not surprising given that some other 3DS Virtual Console titles offer the same functionality, but still nice to know!
Europe finally gets 3DS eShop version of Cave Story on May 1

The 3DS eShop version of Cave Story originally landed in North America back in October 2012. It never made its way to Europe, but that will finally be changing next month.
Nicalis has confirmed on Twitter that Cave Story will launch on the European 3DS eShop on May 1.

Turtle Tale for 3DS approved by NOA

Saturnine Games’ new indie title Turtle Tale has received approval from Nintendo of America (and NCL).
The studio shared the latest update on Twitter, writing:
Turtle Tale 3DS has been approved by NOA & NCL. Not much left to do for the NOA release!

Turtle Tale doesn’t have a release date yet, but it should launch on the eShop in the near future.

ZombiU – Starting April 21, the price of first-person horror game ZombiU is being reduced from $59.99 to $29.99.

Arc System Works teasing new “Escape Adventure” game for the Japanese 3DS eShop

Arc System Works is gearing up to release a new “Escape Adventure” game on the Japanese 3DS eShop. On the series’ official website, a banner has been found with a notice stating “Coming Soon”. I suppose an announcement will be made shortly!
