Sifu, an action rogue-like beat ’em up game, is making the jump to Switch, it’s been announced. The game launches on November 8, 2022.

Theatrhythm Final Bar Line

Today, Square Enix announced Theatrhythm Final Bar Line for Switch. A release is planned for February 16, 2023.

Theatrhythm Final Bar Line continues the rhythm action series with 385 tracks, including iconic Final Fantasy songs like “One-Winged Angel”, “Torn From the Heavens”, and “Suteki Da Ne”, with more planned for post-launch. 90 additional paid DLC songs from the SaGa series, NieR series, Octopath Traveler, and Live A Live are planned. Editions containing a season pass and 27 extra songs, including “Melodies Of Life ~Final Fantasy” from Final Fantasy IX will be available.

Fae Farm

Dauntless developer Phoenix Labs today unveiled Fae Farm, “a new cozy-casual farming and life simulation that invites players to escape with friends into an enchanted world filled with wonder.” A release is planned for Q2 2023 exclusively on Switch.

Fae Farm lets players control an adventurer invited to join a friendly community and create a home while restoring harmony to the land of Azoria. They can build out their homesteads, explore varied environments, gather resources, and plumb the depths of the world to uncover the magic they’ll need to rebuild Azoria. Single-player is fully supported, though the game also allows for seamless drop-in, drop-out play through online and local wireless multiplayer.

Octopath Traveler II

Square Enix is developing Octopath Traveler II for Switch, the company has revealed. The game launches February 24, 2023.

The first Octopath Traveler launched for Switch in 2018. Over three million copies of the RPG have been sold worldwide.

Splatoon 3 Splatfest

Splatoon 3 has revealed its first Splatfest. For the theme, players are asked what they would bring to a deserted island: gear, grub, or fun.

The Splatfest kicks off on September 23 at 5 PM PT / 8 PM ET. It will end on September 25 at 5 PM PT / 8 PM ET.

Fitness Boxing Fist of the North Star

Fitness Boxing Fist of the North Star is coming to Switch, it’s been announced. It will launch in March 2023.

Nintendo and Monolith Soft have provided details about upcoming DLC for Xenoblade Chronicles 3 as part of the game’s Expansion Pass. Wave 2 launches October 13.

Ino will be available as a new Hero, and players can complete her request to have her join their party. Challenge Battles will also be added with consecutive battles against tough enemies. Accessories and special outfits can be earned by challenging stronger and stronger enemies.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 still has two more DLC drops to go. One of these, which is due out by April 30, includes a Challenge Battle mode against difficult enemies, a new hero character and accompanying quests, and new character outfits. The final DLC is planned to launch by the end of 2023 and is comprised of a brand new story scenario.
