Nintendo just passed along an official announcement for the Indie World Showcase and Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase. Both presentations just aired and were filled with plenty of Switch news.

Rune Factory Guardians of Azuma

As part of today’s Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase, Rune Factory: Project Dragon resurfaced with a new title, and going forward it’ll be called Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma. Marvelous will ship it in Spring 2025.

Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted 2 will release on Switch, it’s been announced. A release is slated for this winter.

MySims Cozy Bundle

Following a number of leaks that took place last week, EA has officially announced MySims Cozy Bundle for Switch, featuring the original game and MySims Sky Heroes. It’ll be out on November 19, 2024.

This marks the return of EA’s series that started in 2007 and was prominent on Wii / DS. Several entries were released, but this will be the first one in 14 years – MySims SkyHeroes came out in 2010.

Tales of Graces f Remastered

Tales of Graces f Remastered is in the works for Switch, Bandai Namco announced today. Fans can pick it up on January 17, 2024.

Tales of Graces f originally launched in 2010. For the new version of the RPG, Bandai Namco is throwing in quality of life improvements and additions, some localized scenes that will be shown in English for the first time, and DLC.

Today, Konami announced Castlevania Dominus Collection, which releases today on Switch.

Castlevania Dominus Collection comes with the DS games Dawn of Sorrow, Portrait of Ruin, and Order of Ecclesia. Haunted Castle Revisited, an redesigned version of the very first Castlevania arcade game, is packed in as well.

Suikoden I & II HD Remaster

After a lengthy wait, Suikoden I & II HD Remaster just secured its release date. Konami says it’s heading to Switch on March 6, 2025.

We’ve been waiting to see when exactly Suikoden I & II HD Remaster would be launching. Nearly a year ago, Konami delayed it to an unspecified date. While it still has a number of months to go, fans at least know when they can get their hands on the upcoming Switch title.

A new Atelier game will be coming to Switch, with Koei Tecmo and Gust unveiling Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land. The RPG will launch in early 2025.

Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land is the next entry in the long-running RPG series. Koei Tecmo hasn’t shared much yet, but will be providing more information during a live stream on September 2.

Marvel vs Capcom release date

Thanks to the Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase, Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics (read about it here) now has a release date. The package is scheduled for September 12, 2024 (the physical release is planned for November 22).

Capcom Fighting Collection 2 was also announced. It launches in 2025.

Here’s an overview of what it includes:

August 10: Goat Simulator 3 is heading to Switch, according to a retailer listing which has since been pulled. The game was listed on Amazon Japan, but the page is no longer available. 

Goat Simulator 3, the absurd sandbox action game, originally came out last year. It’ll now be releasing on Switch courtesy of Plaion, and it looks like all copies will include the Digital Downgrade DLC. This added a bunch of remastered content from the original game.
