The Red Lantern

The Red Lantern, a story-driven rogue-lite survival game, is out today on Switch. We have the game’s launch trailer and some footage below.

The Red Lantern is available digitally for Switch via the eShop.

R-Type Final 2

NIS America announced today that it has picked up R-Type Final 2 for publishing. As previously mentioned, the game will launch in Spring 2021.

Warner Bros. and NetherRealm Studios have shared a new trailer for Mortal Kombat 11 featuring Rambo, who will be included in the game’s new “Ultimate” version and Kombat Pack 2. Watch it below.

Oniria Crimes

Oniria Crimes is seeing a last-minute delay. The game has now been pushed back to December 3, with BadLand Publishing and cKolmos Games wanting to make the best experience possible.

Microids and OSome Studios shared a launch trailer for Asterix & Obelix XXL Romastered, a remake of the GameCube game Asterix & Obelix XXL. Watch it below.

There’s been a lot of talk surrounding Minecraft Steve’s addition to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate over the past week, but not necessarily due to his actual inclusion in the game. A lot has been made of the character’s original win screen. Due to the placement of the meat, some have felt it was suggestive. Nintendo ultimately made a change with last night’s 9.0.1 patch.

Before the change was made, Kotaku’s Stephen Totilo actually asked Xbox boss Phil Spencer about the victory screen. Of course, Microsoft owns the Minecraft IP.
