Company of Heroes Collection online multiplayer update

Company of Heroes Collection just went live with a brand new update for Nintendo Switch today, which lets players access online multiplayer.

The feature was previously made available on mobile. Now the same functionality is included on Nintendo Switch and cross-play is supported between all platforms.

Today, Total Mayhem Games announced that the We Were Here series is set to appear on Nintendo Switch. Fans can pick up the first three games later in 2025.

We Were Here is a series of co-op puzzle games. Backwards compatibility with Nintendo Switch 2 is promised and cross-platform support is in development.

Splatoon 3 Summer Nights 2025 Splatfest

June 20: Splatoon 3 has revealed a new Splatfest that will be held for Summer Nights 2025.

This time around, Nintendo is asking how players would like to travel. They can choose between land, sea, or air.

Azure Striker Gunvolt Trilogy Enhanced

March 11: Today, Inti Creates unveiled Azure Striker Gunvolt Trilogy Enhanced for Nintendo Switch. This will launch on July 24, 2025.

The package includes Azure Striker Gunvolt, Azure Striker Gunvolt 2, and Azure Striker Gunvolt 3 plus all DLC. According to Inti Creates, “the series director has renewed all three titles, polishing the action gameplay and updating the music.” Also, items that were offered separately such as voice drama CDs are now included in-game in Library Mode, making for the most complete “final version” of the trilogy.

Harvest Moon The Lost Valley Skytree Village Cozy Bundle

January 28: Not one, but two classic Harvest Moon games have been announced for Nintendo Switch with The Lost Valley and Skytree Village on the way as part of Natsume’s Cozy Bundle. They’ll be available this summer.

Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley and Skytree Village previously debuted on Nintendo 3DS. For the Nintendo Switch versions, both games will be included on a single cartridge and with all DLC.

We have another round of data from Nintendo, this time covering Japan’s best-selling Switch eShop titles for the first half of 2025.

To say the least, it’s been a good few months for Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time. The game secured the first two spots with a couple of different editions. Other titles in the top ten include Tamagotchi Plaza, Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition, and Donkey Kong Country Returns HD.

GameStop Nintendo Switch 2 stapler auction

We have an update on the situation that happened last month in which one specific GameStop location damaged Nintendo Switch 2 systems with a stapler, as now the retailer is auctioning off the first unit that was impacted. Fortunately, it’s all for a good cause.

To get you caught up to speed, one GameStop store thought it’d be a good idea to staple receipts to the boxes. What they didn’t realize is that by doing so, the stapler went through and hit the Nintendo Switch 2 screen. Anyone who was impacted received a free replacement, but since it was a bit of a strange story, the news circulated online.


Old School Rally

Publisher Astrolabe Games, along with developer Frozen Lake Games, today confirmed plans to release Old School Rally on Nintendo Switch. The title is set to launch this holiday.

Old School Rally is a retro rally racing game. If you’re interested in it at all, you’ll be able to give it a try through a new demo hitting the Nintendo eShop on July 10.

Fast Fusion 1.4 update Photo Mode

Fast Fusion is still receiving post-launch update from Shin’en, and the company has now revealed details about an incoming version 1.4 update that’s highlighted by a Photo Mode. All players can access it tomorrow, July 10.

Photo Mode will operate in a similar fashion to other game. That means players will be free to move the camera around the action, chose their preferred angle, and apply unique frames.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

New data from Circana gives us a look at the best-selling games of May 2025 specifically on Nintendo Switch.

Similar to last month, it’s Mario Kart 8 landing at the top. Capcom Fighting Collection 2, which was a new title, debuts at #2 – the game was #19 on the combined platforms chart as previously reported.
