Touhou Spell Carnival coming to Switch

November 8, 2023: Touhou Spell Carnival is heading to Switch, publisher Compile Heart and developer Sting have announced. A release is planned for Spring 2024 in Japan.
The game was technically first announced last month along with a few other titles. However, very few details were shared at the time.

Another update is planned for Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 with Konami preparing version 1.5.0.
Various issues are being fixed this time around. Additionally, Sons of Liberty is getting a pause menu while Sneak Eater is receiving an “Additional Settings” feature.

LEGO 2K Drive started distribution of its latest update for March 2024.
Highlights include the Stargaze Summit Expansion, Special Flairs feature, Goal-Karts: Hockey, Time Trial Mode. There are also some improvements and bug fixes.

Summer Game Fest 2024 showcase announced for June 7

The Summer Game Fest 2024 showcase will air on June 7, host Geoff Keighley announced today. It will be hosted at YouTube Theater in Los Angeles at 2 PM PT / 5 PM ET / 10 PM in the UK / 11 PM in Europe. Those not attending will be able to watch it live online.
According to the official news drop, the Summer Game Fest 2024 showcase will include announcements, trailers, and more. Fans can look forward to “a first look at the most anticipated games” and “what’s next from the video game industry.”
These showcases tend to have varying level of Switch news. We’ll be sure to keep you updated on everything when the event happens later in the year.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown reveals post-launch roadmap

More content is in store for Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown with a few free updates and even a bigger piece of DLC.
The first update, “Warrior’s Path”, is planned for this month. It’ll include a Speedrun Mode, Permadeath Mode, and new Sargon outfits.
Terra Memoria out on Switch this month, new trailer

Terra Memoria now has a release date and the game will be appearing on Switch very soon. Today, it was announced that the title is slated for March 27, 2024.
Terra Memoria was first announced for Switch last June. The team did not initially provide a release window.

Venba gains free Cookbook DLC on Switch

Starting today, Venba players can get their hands on the brand new Cookbook DLC for Venba as part of a free update.
The update includes an in-game recipe book that features detailed instructions for cooking the food that players make in game, and a radio that allows players to cook along to their favorite music tracks from the game with an additional four new songs. These were previously requested by the community.
