More Manticore – Galaxy on Fire details, announcement trailer

Earlier today, we found out that the space action game Manticore – Galaxy on Fire is bound for Switch thanks to a listing on Nintendo’s website. Deep Silver has now made the news official, confirming that the game will indeed be released via the eShop on March 22.

A Famitsu live stream with Suda51 was oddly being hyped this week, even though these broadcasts have been taking place for a few months and don’t often reveal anything too big. That was once again the case with the latest event. Suda51 didn’t have any major revelations, but brought along some new concept art and shared a few small details.
Suda51 first showed the “Golden Gun” that’s used to kill demons by an unannounced character. Players will encounter this character in a game-within-a-game that has a modern setting. Suda noted how that the gun is similar to the one from Killer7.
Darkest Dungeon update out now on Switch

Earlier in the day, Darkest Dungeon was updated on Switch. Red Hook Studios addressed an issue with the Crimson Court Quest and a controller issue. The game’s update was changed as well.

BlobCat heading to Switch

BySamb has announced that BlobCat, a puzzle game in which you need to protect DiceMice by guiding them to Miceholes, is coming to Switch. The news was just shared on Twitter through the following note:

BlobCat will run at 1080p docked at 60 frames per second on Switch. Additionally, online multiplayer will be supported.

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp having startup issues for some players, workaround available

Two issues are currently plaguing Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp. Thankfully, Nintendo has been made aware of both.
The first problem concerns counting “Timed Goals” and “Kudos”. More seriously, some players are having startup issues, and are finding that the game does not display or is unplayable.
Nintendo willing to work with partners other than DeNA on mobile titles

Diamond Online published a new interview with Nintendo president Tatsumi Kimishima today. It rehashes a lot of what has been said previously, but there’s some interesting talk about mobile.
Kimishima once again said that smartphone titles can co-exist with games on Nintendo’s dedicated systems. The company still intends to have 2-3 apps ready each year, though the business will depend on the character the title in question is based on.
