New findings point to Princess Peach: Showtime using Unreal Engine. The game’s Chinese display box has surfaced, which provides us with that information. The Unreal Engine logo is included on the back of the box.

Triggerheart Exelica seeing physical release on Switch

January 11: Triggerheart Exelica is getting a physical release from Red Art Games, the company announced today.
Red Art Games intends to produce both ESRB and PEGI-rated physical Switch versions. In Europe, the game will be distributed by Red Art Games. Video Games Plus is in charge of the North American version.

Atlus and Vanillaware issued another trailer for Unicorn Overlord titled “Josef’s Guide to Training”.
The video demonstrates the ways players can build up their armies in the upcoming tactical RPG. In the trailer, protagonist Alain receives commander training from his holy knight protector Josef. Alain learns how to assemble his troops through using a variety of versatile character classes, boosting character stats through promotions and utilizing training items that grant experience to characters outside of combat.

Arcade-inspired game Slam and Roll planned for Switch

KaleidoGames today announced Slam and Roll, and confirmed plans for release on Switch. An unnamed publisher will be bringing it to the console later this year.

Lugia location guide in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

Today, we’re once again continuing our coverage of Legendary Pokemon locations in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet with a Lugia location guide. In this game, returning Legendary Pokemon can only be accessed via the Indigo Disk DLC.
Lugia and Ho-Oh are Generation II’s signature Legendary Pokemon. Unlike previous games in the series where Ho-Oh and Lugia were available, neither of them are version exclusive this time around. Like all of the other Legendary Pokemon in the Indigo Disk, you can only access Lugia from an NPC named Snacksworth – who for some reason is capable of summoning Legendary Pokemon to Paldea.

RedDeerGames, along with 3S Design, announced today that Wira & Taksa is receiving a Switch release. Look fir it on February 23, 2024.
Wira & Taksa is a gravity platformer in which one character specializes in using the Iron Hammer to take down enemies (but has limited speed) while the other is faster and more dynamic, which allows him to easily overcome tracks (though he’s not as strong).
