NIS America just came through with a release date for Disgaea 7 Complete on Nintendo Switch 2. The game is due out on October 10, 2025.

Disgaea 7 previously came to Nintendo Switch a few years back. But now on Nintendo Switch 2, players will be getting with original game and all previously-released DLC, along with new stories, characters, and more.

Here’s an official overview for those that need a refresher:

Nintendo Switch Online SNES button remapping CRT filter

A couple of interesting nuggets have come to light following yesterday’s update for the SNES app on Nintendo Switch Online.

First, a big addition is the inclusion of button mapping. If you’re not liking the setup Nintendo has in place for a particular game, you can change things to your heart’s content. And if you mess something up or change your mind, you can always revert to the default mapping.

Below is a look at the feature:

I Hate This Place

If you picked up the recently-released Nintendo Switch version of Soma, you might be interested to know that there’s already a big update available that upgrades the experience on Switch 2.

Abylight informed us about a variety of improvements that are already on the console, which are for visuals and performance. The Soma Nintendo Switch update for Switch 2 comes with an improved resolution with a more stable refresh rate, better textures, and reduced loading times. Abylight also says the game “benefits from the handheld console’s screen, offering greater sharpness.”

Tetris 99 Donkey Kong Bananza

Nintendo is preparing a 48th Maximus Cup which can provide players with a new Donkey Kong Bananza theme, it’s been announced.

This is actually the first promotion of the Nintendo Switch 2 era. However, the rules are the same as usual. You’ll just need to reach 100 points (higher placement in matches gives more points) in order to unlock the Donkey Kong Bananza theme in Tetris 99. It will have background art, music, and Tetrimino designs based on the title. This goes without saying, but you’ll need a Nintendo Switch Online membership in order to play.

Mario Paint Nintendo Switch Online

As a surprise out of nowhere, Nintendo has just released Mario Paint on Switch Online.

A big feature is that mouse support is included. You can either use the Joy-Con 2 or a compatible USB mouse. Now that Switch 2 has launched, Nintendo may have felt this was a fitting time to have it ready. A subscription to the Expansion Pack tier is not required, so all Nintendo Switch Online members can access it.

Here’s a brief overview:

Donkey Kong Bananza no bananas run

Donkey Kong Bananza has tons of bananas to collect throughout its many layers, but one players has done what most probably haven’t – which is obtaining zero of them.

Akfamilyhome shared the feat on social media. At this point this is the first time we’re hearing about a player beating Donkey Kong Bananza with 0 bananas collected (at least in terms of sharing that accomplishment online and having it be widely recognized).
