Woodo

Woodo is seeing release on consoles including Switch, publisher Daedalic Entertainment and developers Yullia Prohorova and Timur Bogotof confirmed today as part of the Tokyo Game Show. The two sides did not mention a release window.

Woodo is a cozy 3D puzzle game. There’s more than just puzzles here though, as it includes “a heartwarming story that resonates with both adults and children immersing players in a peaceful, safe and creative world.”

Tanuki: Pon's Summer

Publisher Critical Reflex and developer Denkiworks are working together on Tanuki: Pon’s Summer, the two sides announced today. Although the project has been confirmed for Switch, no release window has been shared currently.

Tanuki: Pon’s Summer is a mail delivery adventure game. Players will control Pon, who needs to restore the shrine before summer ends.

all you need is help release date

All You Need is Help never had its release date announced, but it turns out that the game has just launched. Switch owners can pick up the title now digitally.

All You Need is Help is the latest project from Q-Games. It was announced in April with the launch planned for sometime during the fall.

Spirit Mancer physical

Spanish publisher and distributor Tesura Games confirmed today that it will produce a physical release of Spirit Mancer for Switch. Boxed versions are slated for Q4 2024.

The game will be available standalone, but there’ll also be a collector’s edition. You’ll get the game, collector’s box, artbook, comic book, and soundtrack CD in the latter.

ARTE, RTBF, Ram Ram Games, and Business Goose today announced the upcoming project 30 Birds. It’s due out at the end of 2024.

30 Birds is an adventure game inspired by Persian mythology. Players will also solve puzzles as a detective, who started out on the hunt for the ‘The Scientist’, but gets a new lead when the city’s patron goddess, Simurgh, is suddenly kidnapped by the international criminal.

Sigurd Of the Holy War Fire Emblem Heroes

Sigurd: Of the Holy War is joining Fire Emblem Heroes as an Emblem Hero, Nintendo and Intelligent Systems have announced.

Sigurd previously appeared in Genealogy of the Holy War and Fire Emblem Engage. Note that the same event will let players summon previously released 5-star Legendary, Mythic, and Emblem Heroes.

Utawarerumono Trilogy Set

Utawarerumono Trilogy Set is coming to Switch, a Japanese retailer listing reveals. It will be available in Japan on January 30, 2025.

Utawarerumono: Prelude to the Fallen, Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception, and Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth are included in the package. The games will be made available separately on March 27.

July 12: It’s been a while since we last heard about Romance of the Three Kingdoms 8 Remake, which Koei Tecmo revealed last year with an “early 2024” release window. Today the developer announced that the title will finally be releasing digitally via the eShop on October 24.

Wizardry The Five Ordeals

Game Spark Publishing and 59studio are releasing Wizardry: The Five Ordeals on Switch, the two companies have announced. A release is planned for January 30, 2025.

Wizardry: The Five Ordeals is a dungeon crawler originally made in 2006. Those on Switch will gain access to the main scenario “The Price of Deception,” along with the extra scenarios “Traveler’s Property,” “Children of the King Selene,” “The Devoid of Apotheosis,” “The Pickled Man of Galvan,” and “The Wheels of Flame. Also, with a day-one update, “User Scenarios” can be accessed. “Prisoners of the Battles” and “The Absence of Misericordia” scenarios will be offered as DLC.

Bloomtown A Different Story trailer

Coinciding with this week’s launch, Twin Sails Interactive and Lazy Bear Games uploaded a launch trailer for Bloomtown: A Different Story. The narrative RPG, inspired by genre icons like Persona, made its appearance on Switch this week.
