Zordix has shared the first details about Aqua Moto Racing 3D, a new version of the App Store game slated for release on the 3DS eShop.

Aqua Moto Racing 3D lets players race around in a jet ski and pull off different stunts for boosts. The game makes use of dynamic “real water”, local multiplayer, and a career mode.

A new Pokemon promotion will be running for the Black/White and Black/White 2 games next month. Between May 8 and May 31, Deoxys will be distributed through a Wi-Fi event.

Deoxys arrives at level 100. Some special moves, which have not yet been revealed, will be included with the Pokemon.

In order to obtain Deoxys, you’ll of course need a copy of the game, a DS/3DS system, and Internet access. Also make sure that no more than 11 Wonder Cards are in your possession.

Sniper Elite V2 is heading to Japan on July 18. 505 Games is publishing the shooter in the west, but Ubisoft picked up the game for release in Japan.

Included in today’s Japanese announcement is a confirmation that Sniper Elite V2 will support off-TV play. When used with the TV, however, the map and weapons are presented on the GamePad, enabling fast switching through the screen.

The original release of Sniper Elite V2 originally featured the online co-op mode known as “Kill Tally”. In the Wii U version, this can be experienced through single-player.


Beyblade: Evolution, previously available in Japan, is now coming to North America and Europe. A release is planned for the fall.

Rising Star Games is publishing Beyblade: Evolution in Europe. In North America, D3Publisher will be distributing the 3DS game.

Two versions of Beyblade: Evolution are in the works. You’ll be able to purchase the standalone game or a new collector’s edition version containing an exclusive, six-piece Beyblade Wing Pegasus 90WF toy previously unavailable outside of Japan.

Developed to take advantage of the unique capabilities of the Nintendo 3DS, BEYBLADE: Evolution lets players launch their in-game BEYBLADE, using the gyro and motion sensors and manipulating the viewing angle with the Augmented Reality camera for precise control and adjustment. Players engage in real-time multiplayer battles or follow the Story Mode campaign unlocking new parts and information to fine-tune their tops in the Bey Factory.

BEYBLADE: Evolution game play is an exciting take on the Metal Saga television series which has enjoyed monumental global success since its launch in 2010. Consumers will also now have an exclusive opportunity to unlock and view a sneak peek of the newest upcoming TV series BEYBLADE: Shogun Steel, which will feature the revolutionary new toy line by Hasbro. With a global release date of Fall 2013, this exciting and highly anticipated TV season introduces an entirely new generation of characters to fans apart from the Metal Saga series, showcasing an innovative storyline twist that highlights strategic warrior spirit battling.

Nintendo published a new promo video today for Wii Karaoke U. The video incorporates music from Neon Genesis Evangelion – specifically the theme “A Cruel Angel’s Thesis.” Yashiro Aki, known for her singing and jazz talents, is also featured in the promo.


Update: Ubisoft now tells Joystiq that Rayman Legends is hitting North America on September 3.

Rayman Legends will be available slightly earlier than expected. Ubisoft announced today that its platformer will be hitting North America on August 27 followed by Europe on August 30. Rayman Legends was previously expected in September.
