The Game Awards 2025 live stream

The last big event of 2025 is here with The Game Awards, and for those looking to tune in, we’re passing along the live stream. It’ll start at 4:30 PM PT / 7:30 PM ET / 12:30 AM in the UK / 1:30 AM in Europe ( a half hour pre-show is up first).
Various titles have been nominated for tons of different categories – you can catch up on that here. Aside from the awards though, announcements are a big part of The Game Awards. Nintendo itself hasn’t participated in the last couple of years, but we should be seeing some third-party content for Switch 2 and Switch – LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight and Resident Evil Requiem are already confirmed.

Disney Illusion Island is Europe’s next Nintendo Switch Online Game Trial

A new Nintendo Switch Online Game Trial has been announced for Europe, which is Disney Illusion Island. The event begins today, lasting until December 17.
With the Game Trial, if you’re a Nintendo Switch Online member, you can access the entire game for free. Additionally, all progress transfers to the full version. And simply by participating, you’ll earn 100 Platinum Points on My Nintendo.

How to get Mega Raichu X and Y in Pokemon Legends: Z-A

Pokemon Legends: Z-A’s Mega Dimension DLC is out now, and of course it introduces a whole bunch of brand-new Mega Evolutions. But we already know about Mega Raichu X and Y, and in the interest of not spoiling the new Mega Evolutions, we’re starting out our guide coverage with how to get the Raichunite X and Raichunite Y items. In order to access the associated side quest, you’ll need to play through the game until a side mission wormhole appears within in the shopping district at the very north-middle end of Lumiose City. You’ll also need to have completed Side Missions #2 and #108, which require that you trade NPCs a Pikachu and a Raichu, respectively.

The Rumble Fish 2 – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition announced

The Rumble Fish 2 is getting another run on Nintendo systems with a newly-announced Switch 2 Edition. This release is planned for January 22, 2026.
The Rumble Fish 2 – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition has some new additions. Aside from improved graphics, a Team Battle mode will be included in which you can pick three of your favorite characters and take on your opponent’s team either offline or online. Online cross-play is also supported with Nintendo Switch players.

Wario World has just arrived on Nintendo Switch 2 for Switch Online members

We have news about another classic game on Nintendo Switch Online, as Wario World has now gone live on Switch 2.
The GameCube title first debuted in 2003. Now if you have a membership to Nintendo Switch Online’s Expansion Pack tier, you can play the game now.

February 24: Rockbeasts is coming to Nintendo Switch, publisher Team17 and developer Lichthund announced today. We’ll be seeing it later in 2025.
Rockbeasts is a role-playing management game in which you take on the role of a manager of an up-and-coming rock band. The group starts out as a band of misfits, but you’ll lead them to the top and on to stardom.
