Final Fantasy 7 Remake game-key cards

Naoki Hamaguchi, director of the Final Fantasy Remake series, has weighed in on game-key cards for Nintendo Switch 2.

Game-key cards have drawn the ire of collectors since they were revealed. Fans don’t like the fact that you’re basically getting a blank cartridge, requiring the full title to be downloaded. However, Hamaguchi has now offered a different opinion.

007 First Light gameplay, voice actors, release date

September 3: IO Interactive just gave a lengthy first look at 007 First Light, its new James Bond game, and we also have confirmation about the voice actors and the release date. A half hour of footage was shown as part of a PlayStation State of Play broadcast.

This is actually the very first gameplay. IO shows off stealth, driving segments, shootouts, and more. For the voice cast, we know that Patrick Gibson is playing James Bond. Kemco has released a new teaser trailer and more details for Depth Loop. The title is set to release on both the Nintendo Switch, and Switch 2 sometime in 2026.

Depth Loop takes place in a dystopian future where most of humanity is wiped out. In your group of survivors there seems to be a traitor among you, and suspicion intensifies as you unravel who it is.

Today, Inti Creates unveiled Majogami as its first game for Nintendo Switch 2. The title releases on October 30, 2025, and it will launch on the original Nintendo Switch as well.

Majogami, a project celebrating Inti Creates’ 30th anniversary, is a 2D action platformer. Players take on the role of Shiroha who must slice her way through a twisted paper craft world controlled by the mad Craft Witches.

May 27: Square Enix today announced the release date for Dragon Quest 1 & 2 HD-2D Remake as well as a version for Nintendo Switch 2. On the upcoming console as well as on Switch 1, it’s launching on October 30, 2025.

Professor Layton and the New World of Steam delayed 2026

Professor Layton and the New World of Steam is seeing another delay, with the game being bumped back to 2026. On top of that, a new trailer has come in.

Just like with some other Level-5 games, it’s been a somewhat long wait for Professor Layton and the New World of Steam. Originally, it was announced at the start of 2023. The 2025 launch window was then given in November of that year.

Clouded Leopard Entertainment and Sunsoft has just announced that they will be bringing City Hunter to modern platforms. The title will be released for the Nintendo Switch, and Switch 2 on February 26, 2025.

City Hunter is a 2D side scrolling action game originally released in the year 1990 exclusively for PC. It was based on the City Hunter manga that ran between 1985-1991, and its anime adaptation from 1987. The version of City Hunter coming to modern platforms is being called the “revival edition”.

LoveR Kiss: Endless Memories is an enhanced version of 2020’s romance simulation game LoveR Kiss.
