LEVEL-5 have revealed their lineup for the 2024 Tokyo Game Show. Every game they have slated in this showcase will feature demo stations, and be available for both Nintendo Switch and Switch 2.

GungHo has just released a new trailer for Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter featuring the game’s combat system and various animations. This title will be making its way to Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 on September 19, 2025.

Just a few days after launch, Ubisoft has already come out with the first update for the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Star Wars Outlaws.
Various enhancements and fixes are included. Players will find clearer visuals when moving quickly through the world or using binoculars, user interface updates and performance improvements.

A new video comparison has come online for the Nintendo Switch 2, PS5, and Xbox Series S versions of Star Wars Outlaws.
The game comes to Nintendo’s latest console after its initial launch last year. Although there were some questions about the port a bit before launch, it turns out that Ubisoft has come out with something that’s quite good.

Voidling Bound announced for Nintendo Switch 2, from ex-Skylanders devs

Today, Hatchery Games shared the news that it’s putting its upcoming game Voidling Bound on Nintendo Switch 2. Launch timing will be shared later.
Voidling Bound, which is being made by developers that worked on the Skylanders series, is a cross between Spore and Warframe. The sci-fi action shooter lets players evolve Voidlings through branching paths, shaping both their abilities and appearance.

Path to Tamer Town announced for Nintendo Switch 2

Crazy Goat Games will be releasing Path to Tamer Town on Nintendo Switch 2, the company has announced. It should be out in 2026.
Path to Tamer Town is not to be confused with Tamer Town, which was previously announced. This newly-announced project offers procedurally generated roguelite adventures while Tamer Town is about city management.

The latest UK software sales chart for the week ending September 6, 2025 is now available.
Mario Kart World, which was previously #2, slots in at #1 this time around. Star Wars Outlaws was out of the top 40, but now lands at #7 – sales were 75 percent for Nintendo Switch 2, 18 percent for PS5, and 7 percent for Xbox.
Chronos: The New Dawn is another new release, but only 8 percent of sales were on Nintendo Switch 2. Other new titles include Everybody’s Golf Hot Shots (62 percent for PS5, 38 percent for Nintendo Switch) and Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion (72 percent for Nintendo Switch 2, 24 percent for PS5, and 4 percent for Xbox).

Nintendo has released its maintenance schedule for the week of September 7, 2025.
Just like last week, only one session has been officially announced as of now. Currently there’ll be a bit of downtime for the Nintendo eShops, which seems to be specifically for PayPal usage.
