Mario Kart World icons added to Nintendo Switch Online

June 4: As we enter the Nintendo Switch 2 era, the very first Switch Online icons are here for a game on the console – that being Mario Kart World.
Starting today, different designs will be available if you’re a member of the service. Fans can grab icons for many different characters, backgrounds, and frames. Characters, as usual, cost 10 My Nintendo Platinum Points each. Backgrounds and frames will set you back 5 Platinum Points. Icons can be earned on both Nintendo Switch and Switch 2.

Nintendo just issued the latest Super Mario Party Jamboree update via version 2.1.0.
The big thing is that compatibility is now included with the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 Edition. As part of that, there are some specific bugs that have been fixed for the new version, including one that was game-breaking.

A major version 2.3 update for Cyberpunk 2077 has been announced, which will be coming to Nintendo Switch 2 in the future.
The update brings along new content with four additional vehicles. There’s also an AutoDrive feature, self-driving Delamain cabs, updates for CrystalCoat and Photo Mode, and more.

SEGA shared a bit of additional information about Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds for Nintendo Switch 2 today, including confirmation that the game will contain the entire experience on its cartridge.
This is one of the rare titles on the console to be doing this. Thus far, most third-party publishers have opted to use game-key cards. This has drawn ire from fans as they’re not truly physical – you’re basically getting a blank cartridge as the game needs to be downloaded from the internet.

SEGA put out the latest Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds trailer today spotlighting the game’s customization and gadget features.
The racer will have 40+ vehicles, 70+ gadgets, and 100+ vehicle parts and decals. In all thousands of combinations will be available for players to customize the ultimate racing machine. It’s possible to mix and match racers and vehicles, vehicle parts, and gadgets to create a customized racing experience.
