Last year, Krome Studios ran a Kickstarter campaign for updated re-release of Ty the Tasmanian Tiger for modern systems. The campaign reached its funding goal, and work began on a version for Nintendo Switch. A new update was posted for backers of the campaign today, informing them that the Switch version of Ty the Tasmanian Tiger is currently in its final stages of lotcheck testing and is set to be released on March 31, 2020.

A number of new deals are up and running on the North American Switch eShop. These include Celeste, Death Squared, Killer Queen Black, Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom, Toki Tori, TowerFall, and more.

According to an eShop listing, Heaven Dust will be arriving on Switch this month. Publisher indienova and developer One Gruel Studio will have it ready to go on February 27.

A new teaser trailer has arrived for Angry Video Game Nerd I & II Deluxe. The digital release features “an HD upgrade, more difficulty options, re balanced challenges, some new surprises, and an all-new third chapter”.

One Finger Death Punch 2 was last on track to hit Switch in early December. It seems that never actually happened, though the game has finally received an eShop listing showing a new release date of February 26.

Ancestors Legacy

Judging by a new retailer listing, Ancestors Legacy could be coming to Switch. The squad-based real time strategy has been spotted over on Amazon Japan.

If that now-removed listing is accurate, we could be seeing Ancestors Legacy sooner rather than later. It’s currently pinned down for a May 19 release on Nintendo’s console.
