Minecraft

The new version of Minecraft is now available on Switch. You can find it on the eShop, though it’s getting a physical release as well. It’s a 658MB download.

If you previously purchased Minecraft: Nintendo Switch Edition, this version will show 100% free on the eShop. The old edition is also being removed from the store.

Squids Odyssey

The Game Bakers brought Furi – one of its previous titles – to Switch at the start of this year. A listing on the North American eShop shows another impending release from the studio.

Early next month, Squids Odyssey will be available on Switch. Previously released on 3DS and Wii U, the game offers a mix of action strategy and RPG elements in which players build a team of Squid heroes for turn-based battles against corrupted crabs and shrimps.

Listings on the eShops provide file sizes for a bunch of Switch games. These includede Blob, Pode, Hello Neighbor, Overcooked 2, Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion, and much more.

Pode will be appearing on the Switch eShop starting tomorrow. For an early look at the title, check out the gameplay below.

N-Fusion Interactive is tacking a crack at the flight sim genre on Switch with Air Mail. A listing on the eShop shows it’s due out next week in both North America and Europe.

Zerodiv has readied its next arcade game for Switch. Gunbird 2 is out now on the Japanese eShop and will follow in the west tomorrow. Get a look at some footage below.

A number of Sonic games have been discounted on the North American eShops. Titles for Switch, 3DS, and Wii U are available at lower prices.

EA announced and subsequently released Unravel Two at its E3 press conference last week. After the news was shared, many were quick to point out that it would be a fit on Switch, especially thanks to the co-op play feature.

Creator Martin Sahlin previously mentioned that Unravel Two “would be great on Switch”, but it would take “a lot of work”. A couple of the game’s other developers have spoke about those challenges in depth.
