Breakers: Dawn of Heroes

CyberStep has readied a pair of gameplay videos for Breakers: Dawn of Heroes, its upcoming action RPG for Switch. We’ve included both below.

Cast of the Seven Godsends - Nintendo Switch

Merge Games has published a trailer for Cast of the Seven Godsends, which is out on the Switch eShop this week. View the video below.

Crazy Justice - Nintendo Switch

Black Riddles Studio has posted the latest video for its third-person shooter and battle royale game Crazy Justice. View the video below for a look at a new hero, new weapons, and a splitscreen test on Switch.

Cosen was present at Tokyo Sandbox in Japan recently, and had a bit more to say about the Switch version of Fight of Gods.

In Japan, the game will cost 1,500 yen. It’s due out sometime in 2018.

KORG Gadget

Some lengthy footage has come in for the new music creation app KORG Gadget. Check out the video below for a look at the Switch release.

Voez

We were informed this week that Rayark’s rhythm game Voez has gone missing on the North American Switch eShop. Fortunately, it’s just a temporary situation.

Publisher Flyhigh Works has confirmed to us that an ESRB rating change caused Voez to temporarily become unavailable. “This is being resolved as quickly as possible and the game will return soon,” the company said.

After initially launching on the eShop last year, Voez will soon be receiving a physical version. PM Studios is lining up a retail release for this summer.

Idol Manager

Idol Manager ended up on Kickstarter last month in hopes of securing funding. The $5,000 goal was blown out of the water, raising over $50,000 in total. The campaign also managed to cross a Switch stretch goal this week just before it ended, so the project will indeed be made for the system.

Idol Manager “is a business sim about conquering the entertainment industry using any means you deem necessary.” You’ll be playing the role of a talent agency as you deal with crises, manage relationships between idols, grow your fanbase and more.

Outlast - Nintendo Switch

Red Barrels conducted a Reddit AMA this week all about Outlast on Switch. Philippe Morin, co-founder and senior game designer, as well as senior programmer Mathieu Gauthier participated.

Between the two, they spoke about how the games have been selling on Switch, porting them to the console, why they run at 30 frames per second rather than 60, and more. We’ve rounded up some of the more noteworthy comments below.

Nintendo eShop

The Norwegian Consumer Council has taken issue with Nintendo – as well as a few other gaming companies – with its approach to digital purchases. When pre-ordering any game from the eShop, it’s impossible to cancel. You’re locked in to that purchase, which the Norwegian Consumer Council isn’t happy with.

The two sides have been going back and forth, with Nintendo stating that it isn’t breaking any European laws. PressFire now has the latest on the situation. Nintendo is doubling down and says that they aren’t in agreement with the NCC and says the sales contract is fulfilled since you’re able to pre-load the game immediately after pre-ordering.

Sky Rogue

A new update for Sky Rogue is now available. It addresses a significant issue, as players previously experienced freezing issues on loading screens. We’re also hearing that video capture is supported as well.

Sky Rogue can be purchased for Switch via the eShop.
