During a live stream at the Tokyo Game Show, Koei Tecmo and Gust shared new information about the new Fairy Tail RPG for Switch.

Just ahead of the Tokyo Game Show, Koei Tecmo and Gust announced a brand new RPG based on the manga/anime Fairy Tail. During a stage show at the event today, some new footage debuted showing off battle animations.

Fairy Tail arrives on Switch in 2020.

September has been a big month for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Banjo-Kazooie was added to the game, Terry Bogard from Fatal Fury was revealed, and it was announced that even more DLC characters are on the way.

Masahiro Sakurai discussed the major news in his latest Famitsu column, which we now have a full translation of. The Smash Bros. director commented on plans for even more DLC fighters (including that Nintendo again makes the decision on who should be implemented), not taking any big breaks, and wanting to push records as a massive fighter with many collaborations.

At E3 2019, we had a chance to speak with Natsume producer Taka Maekawa. We talked Harvest Moon: Mad Dash and how it came to be, the company’s new indie program, the possibility of revisiting more classic IPs similar to what was done with Wild Guns Reloaded, and more. At TGS 2019 this week, Bandai Namco brought along an updated build of One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4. View some footage recorded at the event below.

Alongside the launch of Daemon X Machina, Nintendo and Marvelous prepared a day-one update. Version 1.0.1 is actually pretty substantial, as this is what seems to add in the Cooperative Mode.

Gear.Club Unlimited 2

A new update for Gear.Club Unlimited 2 is now available on Switch, publisher Microids and developer Eden Games have announced.

The main highlight is the addition of a wireless local multiplayer mode. Players can also now choose a car’s color and decal design from the vehicle selection screen. Other improvements have been implemented, and it will soon be possible to obtain two new car packs as DLC.

Gear.Club Unlimited 2 originally arrived on Switch last December.
