Wii U eShop

It was over a year ago when we heard about Slain! coming to Wii U. Unfortunately, it now seems that it’s unlikely for the eShop.

When asked about the status of Slain! on Wii U, the game’s developer said:

“No, we can’t confirm Wii U date, or that it is happening just yet. We were hoping it would but sales on that platform are just too weak to justify the port from what we have seen.”

Slain! was originally featured in an announcement from Nintendo last March about games in development for the Wii U eShop. In fact, the game still has a listing on Nintendo’s North American website.

More:

Several new games out came out this week on the Wii U and 3DS eShops. If you’re interested in checking out what’s new in screenshot form, take a look at the gallery below.

Syndicate Atomic’s neat-looking action/party title Ectoplaza came to the North American Wii U eShop yesterday. To download the game, 711 MB of free space is needed. The amount is dropped to 670 MB once installed.

Fire: Ungh’s Quest was recently added to the Wii U eShop in Europe. Check out some footage of the downloadable title below.

With Halloween taking place in just a few days, Starfall Studios has prepared a new Sneaky Ninja video showing off the Graveyard Gauntlet area. View it below.

Sneaky Ninja is currently targeted for Q1 2017, mid-January on PC and soon after for Wii U. Starfall Studios is aware that this puts the game close to Switch’s launch, but there’s not much that can be done. That being said, we were told the team has no “concrete plans to port to the Switch yet, but we’d love to do that once we get more info”.

Update: The big question is solved: Dungeon Hearts DX is slated for November 10. Not too far away indeed!

Original: We don’t know when Dungeon Hearts DX is coming, but it should be very soon. That’s because the game’s file size is actually floating around, and it should be roughly 900 MB. Dungeon Hearts DX fell off the map a bit after it was last targeted for February, but it’s fortunately isn’t too far away now.

Ahead of its release on November 3, some footage has come in for Twisted Fusion. View the game’s first 15 minutes below.

Note that Twisted Fusion takes up 125MB of space.

Wii U Download

Demonic Karma Summoner – $3.00
Ectoplaza – $7.99

Lost in Shadow – $19.99

Lost in Shadow is due out on the North American Wii U eShop tomorrow as a Wii download, according to Nintendo’s website. The game was made available digitally in Europe back in July.

Nintendo’s listing contains the following overview:

“When a boy becomes separated from his shadow, he must journey along with a sylph named Spangle to unlock the mysteries across the land shaded by the looming Tower. You will need to battle and find aid amongst the shadows as you manipulate light and traverse this alternate land where even gravity isn’t a factor.”

Lost in Shadow will cost $19.99 when it launches on the eShop.
