First look at the Ika Musume (Squid Girl) outfit in Splatoon

The first image of Splatoon’s Ika Musume (Squid Girl) outfit has come in through Japanese magazines. You can get a look at it above.
Additionally, there’s information available about the different pieces of gear. Here’s the rundown:
Ika Musume hat

This new costume is coming to Japan once the new update releases this week. It has yet to be announced if it will be made available in the west.

Ika Musume (Squid Girl) costume to be added to Splatoon in Japan with this week’s update

Back in June, it was revealed that Splatoon would be getting a costume based on the Ika Musume (Squid Girl) manga. It’s finally been confirmed that the new outfit will be added in Japan following this week’s big update.
According to leaks from the latest issue of Famitsu, there are three components to the Ika Musume costume in Splatoon: hood, dress/sleeveless, and shoes. It sounds like there will be a male equivalent as well.
It’s still unknown if Nintendo will be adding the Ika Musume costume here in the west. We should be finding out pretty soon at least!
Splatoon: Arowana Mall being changed not just in Splat Zones, but all game modes

Splatoon’s big update is coming soon, and one of the changes listed in the patch notes was that “certain stage elements” in Arowana Mall are being adjusted in Splat Zones. However, the Japanese Splatoon Twitter account clarified today that the stage is being changed in all game modes, not just Splat Zones.

Devil’s Third – the 7-year developed title by Tomonobu Itagaki and his team at Valhalla Game Studios – is officially out as of today in Japan, with Europe getting an August 28th release and North America slated for Q4 2015. UK Super Mario Maker site now says the game has “dozens” of courses, 100 previously mentioned

Back in June, the UK Super Mario Maker website stated that the game would come packed with 100 pre-made courses. This mention was soon removed from the official page.
The same Super Mario Maker site has been updated once again, and the blurb now mentions something slightly different. It says that the title “will feature dozens of sample courses that are directly playable, and can help to inspire players in creating their own.”
I suppose it’s still possible that Super Mario Maker contains 100 courses. The wording is unclear though – that’s for sure. There’s a chance that we won’t know of the final level count until around launch time.
