At E3 2019, SEGA kindly invited us to their booth for some personal time with their line-up of offerings. In part five of this series, I’ll be taking a retrospective look at my experience with a new entry in a game series that still blows my mind that it even exists: Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020.

You can hear me chatting about all things Nintendo (and more) on our weekly podcast, available on iTunes, Spotify, and many other platforms.

For detailed impressions of Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020, check below the break.

This week’s episode of Nintendo Minute has gone live. In today’s video, Kit and Krysta check out some player-made levels in Super Mario Maker 2. Check out the full episode below.

Towards the end of last week, it was looking like Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered would be exclusive to GameStop. That’s now officially confirmed with a new listing on the retailer’s website. If you’re interested in a physical copy, GameStop will be the only place in the United States selling the title.

Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered will be priced at $29.99. Pre-orders are open at GameStop here.

Zelda: Breath of the Wild has a bunch of references to past games in the series. Some are more subtle than others, but fans think they’ve found a possible new one.

Over in Lurelin Village, players have started to notice that the layout is similar to Outset Island from The Wind Waker. You’ve got the big ladder with a watchtower similar to Aryll’s Lookout, buildings in similar locations, and more.

Here’s a closer look:

Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath was announced for Switch last September, but then sort of disappeared. We haven’t heard anything about its status since then.

Fortunately, the port is still in the works. And on top of that, it sounds like some very big news about the series overall could be announced in the near future.

Wired Productions and Caged Element have teased the next content update for GRIP: Combat Element. “Summer of Combat” will introduce new tracks and arena maps, new vehicles (including an as yet unannounced new licensed IP), optimization, and more.

Here’s what the GRIP Summer of Combat will include:

This week’s Famitsu scans are now available. Highlights include Astral Chain, Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town, Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Mega39’s, Dragon Quest XI S, and Omega Labyrinth Life (which is a bit NSFW). Scans of all games can be found below.

More:

War Tech Fighters, which just debuted on the Switch eShop recently, will be getting a physical edition. Red Art Games confirmed it will be handling the release. No word yet on a release window, but pre-orders open mid-August.
