Switch

Recently announced for Japan, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy for Switch will be getting a western release as well. We’re waiting to hear about North America (presumably we’ll have news later today), but the European launch is also confirmed for April 26. It will be digital-only, unlike Japan.

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy is a compilation of the first three Ultimate Ninja Storm titles that lets players relive the story of Naruto Uzumaki from his days at the Ninja Academy to the 4th Great Ninja War. The package will include many of the DLC released for the original games such as Saskuke’s kimono costume, and allows fans to choose between heroes and villains like Naruto Uzumaki, Saskuke Uchiha, Pain or Obito Uchiha to lead into battle.

We have an English trailer for Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy below.

Update: Added in a multiplayer highlight trailer below as well.

Original: Koei Tecmo uploaded a couple of English trailers for Attack on Titan 2 today. Videos focused on the custom character and combat are posted below.

The Switch doesn’t have a traditional activity log like the 3DS, but play time is recorded. If you visit your profile, all of the games you’ve booted up will be listed along with how long you’ve played them.

Unfortunately, with Switch reaching its first anniversary in some parts of the world, users have discovered that their play times are being reset – or at least showing that way for now. For Zelda: Breath of the Wild for example, profiles are displaying “First played 0 days ago” instead of the proper hours count.

Update: Bumped to the top. You can reserve the limited edition on Play-Asia here (with $5 off) and the standard edition here (thanks Jake and axel). We also have a few more photos below.

Original: Following Xenoblade Chronicles 2 earlier this week, Nintendo announced today that they will also release the official soundtrack for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild in Japan. Releasing on April 25, it will come in two version: a first print limited edition and a standard edition.

The limited edition, which will cost 7,000 yen, pictured above, comes with the following:

Nintendo has updated its maintenance schedule for the following week, and several sessions are planned. Eight different listings have been added in, including My Nintendo – which is something we can’t recall seeing previously and could mean Nintendo is getting ready for the new functionality that will allow Switch owners to use Gold Points.

Here’s the full roundup of maintenance:

Two important updates regarding Moonlighter, the Kickstarted action RPG by Digital Sun Games. We now have a confirmed release month for the game – it will launch on Switch in May. Also, the game is getting a physical release in North America as Merge Games will publish the game in that region. No word yet on a physical release in the rest of the world.
