Abyss Wii U out next Thursday on the Wii U eShop

EnjoyUp Games has confirmed Abyss’ Wii U release for May 1. In North America, the game will be available for just $1.99.

Apexicon funded on Kickstarter

Apexicon has reached its funding goal on Kickstarter. Since the game’s campaign launched, Actos Games has raised over $5,000.

Hover: Revolt of Gamers’ Kickstarter is now live. You can access it here.
To receive full funding, Hover’s Kickstarter will need to raise $38,000. A Wii U stretch goal – asymmetric gameplay and all – lies ahead at $100,000.

Wii U support being considered for Source’s Kickstarter campaign

Fenix Fire is considering Wii U support for its Kickstarter campaign “Source”.
In a Kickstarter update, the studio wrote:
Possibly. We are licensed Wii U developers ad our game engine, Unity, does work on Wii U. The issue is that some of our effects are DirectX11 GPU optimized, meaning that they only work on this architecture. We’re currently evaluating the Wii U and if this is possible, and there is enough demand, will offer Wii U support as a stretch goal.

Source is a new Metroidvania action-adventure game with exploration, puzzle-solving and combat. Check out the video above to get a taste as to what the title is about.
