A new patch is now available for ZombiU. Ubisoft hasn’t prepared any update notes, so we’re unclear what it does at present. It should take care of some glitches/issues at the very least.

Nintendo has two more sessions at GDC 2013 tomorrow. We’ll post details from both as we get them.
Nicalis has been a fairly big supporter of Nintendo’s online shops and has previously teamed up with developers to help release their games. So if anyone were to make Fez happen on a Nintendo system, Nicalis would likely be the go-to company. There is one significant barrier, however: studio head Tyrone Rodriguez doesn’t appear to be too interested in the possibility.
When it was suggested that Nicalis get in touch with creator Phil Fish and Nintendo’s Dan Adelman, Rodriguez instead said that he would “much rather work on Monaco or Spelunky for a Nintendo console.”
Rodriguez tweeted:
THQ transferred the WWE gaming licence to Take-Two Interactive before shutting down. There was a brief period of time when the latest entry, WWE ’13, was unavailable in stores as Take-Two subsidiary 2K Sports took reigns of the franchise.
Everything is now back to the way it was. WWE ’13 can be purchased once again, and the game is exactly the same – only the publisher logo on the box has changed.
Even more Etrian Odyssey: Millennium Girl details have leaked out of Famitsu. The Japanese publication provides a first look at the game this week.
As we mentioned earlier today, Etrian Odyssey: Millennium Girl isn’t a new game. It turns out that Millennium Girl is instead a remake of the very first Etrian Odyssey released on the DS.
Without further ado, here’s the latest information batch:
– Story involves strong earthquakes and mysterious roaring in Etria
– Protagonist, voiced by Kousuke Toriumi, is a spear-wielder from the Highlander clan
– The government asks you to investigate and explore the ruins
– Three other companions join you on the investigation and go as far as the World Tree, which seems to have a deep connection to the ruins
– The team encounters Frederica Irving on their journey, a girl who lost her memories
– Frederica Irving is voiced by Marisa Ise
– Frederica is a kind-spirited girl, but is wary of others
– Simon York (voiced by Daisuke Ono) is the leader of the investigation party sent by the “Mizugaruzu” Library
– Simon is smart, knows a lot about ancient civilizations and labyrinth monsters, is a medic, and can calmly aid his companions no matter the circumstance
– Arthur Charles (voiced by Toshiyuki Toyonaga) is a member of the investigation party, an alchemist, is good at elemental attacks, doesn’t think too hard about anything, sometimes talks big, and has a tremendous amount of faith in Simon
– Lacuna Sheldon (voiced by Shizuka Ito) is a baladine and woman at the vanguard of the investigation party, from the noble family, has an open and modest personality, has a strong sense of justice and plenty of common sense, loses her head when it comes to good food
– Each character can
– Each character will have the potential to learn various skills depending on their class

– “The fun of the RPG was left just as it was, but since we’ve strengthened the story and characterization, this game will make it all the more easier to enjoy the true essence of the RPG.”
Nintendo has picked up a few new trademarks in Japan. Let’s take a look:
- U
- Tomodachi Collection: New Life
- Nymphia
- Mario & Luigi Dream Adventure
- Mario and Donkey Kong Minis on the Move
- Splash or Crash
- Pokemon Scramble
- Nintendo Web Framework
One particular trademark is “Nintendo Web Framework”. It’s some kind of behind-the-scenes technical item that we haven’t heard much about. Nintendo of America’s Ryan Lynd will be talking about the Nintendo Web Framework at GDC tomorrow.
– Changed from Killer Freaks because aliens were too fast to use the Gamepad effectively
– Using the Gamepad requires a slower-paced game that lets you look away from the TV occasionally
– The question of how gamers could attach to the story with a perma-death mechanic was a tough hurdle to overcome
– That issue resolved itself, however, because the gameplay told a story that players could get attached to naturally
– Dialogue wasn’t needed to tell this story because it arose out of the player’s individual actions with survivors they got attached to
– Players are meant to be the various survivors, so when the Prepper says the last survivor he knew was sloppy or ineffective, he’s really judging the player
