Well folks… there goes any hope of a sequel to to The World Ends with You – at least for now. Square Enix’s teaser site has updated, confirming the iOS version (and that’s all).
We’ve posted some screenshots of The World Ends With You – Solo Remix below so that you can see how it stacks up to the DS version. There’s more information on the official site.
We finally have an update on the fan-made Super Mario Galaxy 2.5.
Along with a new trailer, the folks behind the project have released a playable demo. As long as you have the Galaxy 2 disc, Wii Homebrew, and Riivolution application, you’ll be able to test out the trial. There’s more information at the YouTube link.

Japanese consumers lined up big time for the Pikachu 3DS XL yesterday. At one point, Inside Games recorded over 300 people at 10 AM – with more fans piling in later. It took four hours for everyone to be processed.
These lines were only for pre-orders. The actual system won’t go on sale until August 25. But the strong support isn’t too surprising as the special 3DS XL can only be purchased with a pre-order.

There have been some pretty crazy Wii U release date rumors before… but this latest one may take the cake.
Apparently Burger King will be receiving toys relating to the Wii U on October 25. That has sparked speculation that the console could launch in late October or early November.
I still personally believe that the Wii U will release in mid to late November. But with Nintendo, you never know!
