Zen Pinball 2 is heading to the European Wii U eShop this Thursday. But by the look of things, it won’t be out in North America until later.
On its blog, developer Zen Studios noted that the North American release is “coming very soon”. A more specific date was not provided.
Traditionally, LEGO games land on practically every major platform. LEGO City: Undercover, however, is a Wii U exclusive.
That could have something to do with the nature of the title. Speaking with ONM executive producer Loz Doyle said that Undercover “would definitely lose something on other platforms.”
Doyle explained:
“LEGO City Undercover would definitely lose something on other platforms. Chase is actually given a LEGO version of the GamePad as his Police Communicator, so it’s really woven into the story. We started with a massive array of ideas [for the GamePad] but in the end we focused on it being a police device. The map is really useful to have on at all times rather than in a small corner of the screen, plus you receive video calls from different characters.”
Namco Bandai’s annual Tales of Festival has been dated. This year’s event will be taking place on June 1 and June 2 at the Yokohama Arena in Japan.

Tales of Festival 2013 S seats will be priced at 8,800 yen. A seats will be priced at 6,800 yen. Premium seat prices will be announced early February.
Back in November, Nintendo held a lottery just to see who would be eligible to purchase the Charizard-themed 3DS XL. Now the company is opening up things a bit more. Those who are members of the Pokemon Daisuki Club can purchase the special 3DS XL system starting on February 9.
