Although the images above only show screenshots of what was allegedly Burnout Freestyle for DS, the game was supposedly in the works for the Wii as well. For one reason or another, Criterion stopped working on the project and the titles were cancelled.

The image above is rumored to have come from Japanese magazine V-Jump, although no one has been able to verify that the logo is official. Meanwhile, Eurogamer Portgual has reported that the magazine will be unveiling the title in their next issue. To be honest, I’m quite skeptical about both points, but I wouldn’t mind if I was wrong!

Final Fantasy Type-0 is a pretty interesting name, don’t you think? The listing was found in Europe’s trademark database, along with a logo for Type-0 with “type zero” written in kanji. Of course, no one can be completely sure what the trademarks are, though Siliconera speculates that it could be a Final Fantasy spinoff. Square Enix will have a press conference next month to share a fair amount of announcements. Might Final Fantasy Type-0 be revealed?

A lot is happening next year for gaming. Tons of highly anticipated titles will be released (we hope), but the future is ever moving, and things easily change. What might get delayed? What could get announced? What – god forbid – will get canceled all together? What might Nintendo bring to the table? I have a few ideas:
