Most gamers probably associate Suda 51 with creating the No More Heroes franchise. While Marvelous Entertainment and Spike took charge of publishing the first No More Heroes in Japan, Ubisoft handled the title in North America.

Now Suda 51 is helping Ubisoft out a bit by promoting Just Dance. That’s right – you can watch Suda 51 talk about his experience with the game and more importantly, you can watch him dance a little!

“I’m preaching to the choir on this one, but Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop definitely got a bad rap. If you stop counting the number of zombies on the screen and just play, you’ll have some fun. People couldn’t help comparing it to the X360 game, which I can understand, but it did okay at retail, so I’d put this in a grey area.” – Seth Killian, Capcom’s Senior Manager of Community

“… (I’m) happy to say there’s something else distinctly demake-esque coming soon. Of course, there’s also Mega Man 10, which isn’t so much a demake as a straight up high-five to the joys of classic gaming…” – Seth Killian, Capcom’s Senior Manager of Community

Mr. Killian had a few other things to say as well. Capcom will be busy with retro revivals, remakes, new IPs, and possibly new hardcore Wii titles this year. Additionally, the company is working on a surprising motion control project that Killian believes “nobody will see coming,” although it may not be Nintendo related.

Take Command of the Greek Squad
Glory of Heracles features many familiar references to Ancient Greek characters and locations with a rich storyline inspired by Greek Mythology without explicitly recreating events. The story begins when a boy washes up on the island of Crete. He doesn’t remember how he got there or even who he is. In this unique adventure, he soon meets companions with equally murky backgrounds and finds out he’s immortal…just like his new friends. Glory of Heracles also features a deep, role-playing battle system and magic that can be powered up through the use of touch screen challenges. Players can visit well-known locations like Sparta, Athens and even the legendary Mount Olympus.

FEATURES:

* Inspired by Greek mythology, Glory of Heracles delivers a unique take on the characters, events and monsters of legend. Travel from Crete to Athens and all the way to the halls of Mount Olympus, facing off against Minotaurs, Harpies and the unstoppable Hydra as you try to earn your place among the immortals of ancient Greece.

* Guide your party of heroes through turn-based battles, unleashing the powers and magical abilities of the gods against the monsters of Greek mythology. Touch screen challenges give add to the action, giving you the chance to power up your magical attacks.

* In-game tutorials and intuitive stylus-based controls make Glory of Heracles easy to learn for beginning RPG players but difficult to master. In addition, during battle, the game will offer advice on battle strategies that both RPG newcomers and advanced players will find helpful. Heracles also offers tremendous depth for experienced RPG fans, featuring alternate control schemes, programmable party member AI sets and a multitude of unique character skills, abilities and magic.

In celebration of the brand new year we’re starting things off with the release of a must-have fan favorite – Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney for WiiWare. The game will be available for download on Monday, January 11, 2010 and will cost 1,000 Wii Points. This is the original court adventure that started it all and made Pheonix Wright one of the most celebrated characters in the Capcom universe. Players will collect evidence, weed through inconsistent testimonies and overcome corrupt agendas to ensure that justice prevails! Present evidence with the wave of the Wii remote or press suspicious testimonies by wiggling it. These games can be played via single-player and has multiple save slots.

The story kicks off with Phoenix Wright defending his childhood friend Larry Butz from a murder charge. But this is only the beginning drama for the tenacious legal eagle as Wright faces unexpected tragedies that will test the limits of his incredible deductive prowess. In May, owners of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney will be able to download the bonus episode that appeared in the original Nintendo DS™ version of the game. It will cost 100 Wii Points.
