Inti Creates announced today that Yang Yumo from Dusk Diver 2 is joining Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX 2 as a guest boss fight. It will be available on February 24, 2022, just in time for Dusk Diver 2’s release date.

It’s also been announced that the previously announced guest boss DLC, Kohaku Otori from COGEN: Sword of Rewind, is out on Switch today.

Call of Duty is one of the highest-selling games each year, but the series has yet to appear on Switch. However, Microsoft has expressed interest in changing that in the future following its acquisition of Activision Blizzard.

In an interview with CNBC, Microsoft president Brad Smith expressed interest in bringing the Call of Duty franchise to Switch. He said:

Publisher Kalypso Media and developer Torus Games have readied an official gameplay trailer for the tennis experience Matchpoint: Tennis Championships. It provides a new look at the title, which features tennis tournaments across the globe, authentic ball physics, sophisticated character animations, and more.

Matchpoint: Tennis Championships will include the top ten ranked Danill Medvedev, Garbiñe Muguruza, Andrey Rublev, Casper Ruud and Hubert Hurkaczs as well as stars like Nick Kyrgios, Benoît Paire, Heather Watson, Hugo Gaston, Madison Keys, Victoria Azarenka, Carlos Alcaraz, and Pablo Carreño Busta, Taylor Fritz, Amanda Anisimova, and Kei Nishikori.

Developer and publisher Inkle has announced that it is bringing its latest game, narrative adventure with rhythm and survival elements A Highland Song, to Switch. No release date has been confirmed.  Check out a trailer and overview for the game below the break.

Publisher CFK and developer CINDYZ STUDIO have announced an exact release date for zombie apocalypse thriller Who Is Zombie. The title is scheduled to arrive digitally on the Switch eShop on February 24. In addition, a free demo is available now on the Switch eShop, and players may pre-order the full game starting today. Here’s an overview for the game:

Resplendent Hero Deirdre: Lady of the Forest is now available in Fire Emblem Heroes for Feh Pass subscribers. There are also new Feh Pass Quests to go along with Dierdre and all of these will be available until February 24, 2022. 

The next Resplendent Hero has also been announced as Lukas: Sharp Soldier. Lukas will be coming to Feh Pass subscribers on February 24, 2022 11pm PT. 

Pokemon Masters EX has added some new story content featuring the leader of Team Galactic, Cyrus. The Sinnoh chapter in the Main Story Villain Arc details Cyrus’s plans and the climax of his story.

Also featuring Cyrus is the Galactic Awakening villain event, where players can collect Palkia points to give a power boost to the sync pair Cyrus & Palkia. This will last until February 27, 2022. 

Running alongside this is the Sygna Suit Cyrus Poke Fair Scout that allows players to scout the sync pair Sygna Suit Cyrus at a 10% higher chance. More details about both of these events can be found below.

A new RPG was announced by Marvelous during the Japanese Nintendo Direct today. This RPG is called LOOP8, and it will be coming to Switch in 2022 in Japan. There is no information regarding which languages will be supported at this time.

The game has a unique system of using the emotions of characters to influence gameplay in something called “Emotional AI” (as translated by Gematsu). This makes the relationships the player forges with the characters very important and crucial to gameplay.
