The countdown for Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance continues, and today’s Daily Demon is Senri, a staple demon in the series that makes its return in Vengeance.

It’s time for the latest Famitsu’s most wanted games chart. This week, Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition appears for the first time.

There’s yet another special Tera Raid Battle event on the way for Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet, this time featuring Emboar.

Emboar won’t be easy to take down as it will appear in 7 Star Raids. It’s carrying the Emboar Tera Type and as usual, comes with the Mightiest Mark. Just like we’ve seen before, you can catch it just once per save file.

Following fan speculation that Sonic x Shadow Generations could be bringing back the Chao Garden, Sonic Team head Takashi Iizuka has confirmed that it won’t be in the game.

Chao Gardens are largely known from their appearance in the Sonic Adventure series. Players can essentially raise Chao as digital pets. Fans have been clamoring for the gameplay feature to return, but we haven’t seen much of it in recent years.

If there’s one thing you may remember about the 2005 game Shadow the Hedgehog, it’s that the character used a gun. However, since then, SEGA has moved away from that.

Shadow is now getting his own campaign again as part of Sonic x Shadow Generations. This time around though, he won’t be wielding a gun at all – and it’s something Sonic Team boss Takashi Iizuka doesn’t feel is truly necessary.

Upcoming Switch game The Rise of the Golden Idol just received its first proper trailer. The title was announced at The Game Awards at the end of last year, but only with a brief teaser. Today’s trailer gives us actual gameplay.

Publisher Fellow Traveller and developer Jump Over the Age made it official today that they’re putting Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector on Switch. It’s expected to arrive in early 2025.

Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector is a sequel to the acclaimed 2022 title. This time around, players wind up in Starward Belt, “a richly realized, ramshackle set of habitats in an asteroid belt full of secrets, stories, and characters trying to make ends meet.”

We’ve been waiting to hear about the release date for Demonschool, and today, publisher Ysbryd Games and developer Necrosoft shared that information. It’ll be coming to Switch on September 13, 2024.

Originally announced in 2022, Demonschool is a school-life tactics RPG with hints of Persona, Shin Megami Tensei, and Italian horror cinema. It was planned for 2023 at the time, but extra development was needed.

Cult Games, along with Unpacking developer Witch Beam, today unveiled Tempopo. Although it’s confirmed for Switch, we’re waiting to hear on release timing.

A puzzle game at its core, Tempopo involves rescuing musical flowers. Players start out with a planning phase for the creatures to follow when the music starts.
