The 1st Anniversary Tour is almost over in Mario Kart Tour, but a new event is on the way. Nintendo has announced the Halloween Tour, which “will feature a new course that’ll be sure to get you in the seasonal spirit”.
The upcoming event goes live in Mario Kart Tour on October 20 at 11 PM PT / October 21 at 2 AM ET. A trailer should be going live to show off what’s planned next week.

You’ll notice that at the end of today’s trailer, the Switch logo is nowhere to be found. If we had to guess, we’ll no longer be seeing the Switch version in November as originally planned. We’ve reached out to Microids about the situation, and will let you know if they respond to our inquiry.
We heard earlier today that Switch was again the best-selling console in the United States. That piece of information was more important than initially thought, as the system has set a new record.
Following what took place in September, Switch has been the best-selling console in the U.S. since December 2018. That marks 22 consecutive months that this has happened, and a new record has been set. The Xbox 360 previous held the record with 21 consecutive months, which took place between August 2011 and April 2013.
The Outer Worlds’ new patch for Switch has a release date. Players can download the upcoming update on October 21, Private Division, Obsidian Entertainment, and Virtuos have announced.
The full patch notes haven’t been shared just yet. However, the game’s official Twitter account did put out a comparison showing how the visuals have been improved, which you can find below.

The first-person stealth horror game CASE 2: Animatronics Survival is reaching Switch this month, an eShop listing reveals. It’s scheduled for release on October 30.

Original (10/16): It’s been awhile, but you may remember that a Nendoroid for Bayonetta was previously announced at Wonder Festival. We then saw a prototype version back in February, though it lacked any sort of color. Now the full figure has been properly shown with the latest update from Good Smile.
The Bayonetta Nendoroid is targeted for release in July 2021. We have a bunch of photos showing off the new figure below.
Legends of Ethernal went up on the Japanese Switch eShop about a month ago. We’re not sure what the holdup was, but the game is just about to head west as Natsume has confirmed an overseas release date of October 30.
