May 27: Today, publisher Microids and developer Blazing Griffin announced Arsene Lupin: Once A Thief. The title is on track for a late 2024 debut on Switch.

Arsene Lupin: Once A Thief is a mystery game that “offers an immersive journey into the world of the iconic gentleman-burglar.” Players can experience “iconic tales drawn from the work of Maurice Leblanc to discover how the legend was forged.”

The Switch 2 rumor mill continues to heat up, and today factory prototype images have allegedly leaked.

The photos are in a rough state and obviously don’t show things in the final form that would reach consumers. However, there are interesting things to note here, including the actual build and a look at the new version of the Joy-Con. On top of that, the device will apparently include USB-C ports at the top and bottom of the device.

Necro Story was given a release date on Switch today. The title is now confirmed for launch on October 7, 2024.

Necro Story saw a slight delay. When the game was announced for Switch a few months ago, it was planned for this month (September).

Hamster will release Crime City as the latest Arcade Archives game on Switch, the company announced today. A worldwide release is planned for September 19, 2024.

Happy Elements and Cacalia Studio have announced that they will be bringing Monpic: The Hatchling Meets a Girl to Switch this year, with a general Fall time window given. The 2D adventure game focuses on the bond between Pico and Yuzuki, a dragon hatchling and a girl who can transform into a dragon.

The eShop listing provides us with the following details about the title:

Four more games just dropped on Nintendo Switch Online for September 2024 – specifically Battletoads Double Dragon, Big Run, Cosmo Gang the Puzzle, and Kunio-kun no Dodgeball da yo Zen’in Shugo.

All of these titles represent the SNES era. However, outside of Battletoads Double Dragon, the others were originally made for the Super Famicom.
