Shiren the Wanderer: The Mystery Dungeon of Serpentcoil Island is coming to Switch next year, and you can say that the fans helped make it happen.

In an interview with Famitsu, Spike Chunsoft said that Shiren the Wanderer: The Tower of Fortune and the Dice of Fate received strong support from fans and sold well. This helped paved the way for the new project, which will be the first new mainline entry in over a decade.

A recent issue of Famitsu contained a feature in which it published the results a player survey on Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. A bunch of questions were answered, and fans voted on topics such as their favorite character, weapon, area in the game, and more. Results were based on feedback from 1,290 people, though some didn’t respond to every question.

When the survey was being conducted, 67.7% of survey participants said they beat Tears of the Kingdom, but 32.3% haven’t yet – those numbers should be very different today. 77.2% played 100 hours or more, 11.9% played between 50 and 100, 4.9% were between 30 and 50, 2.8% were between 10 and 30, 2.3% were between 1 and 10, and 0.9% played less than an hour.

Dragon Ball: The Breakers is gearing up for Season 4, which will introduce new characters such as Broly.

Bandai Namco says Broly is a super attack type Raider with power that increases over the course of fierce battles. In fact, he’s more powerful than any other Raider in the game so far.

Two years after Grotto was announced for Switch, the game now has a release date. An eShop listing has it down for November 17, 2023.

Grotto, a narrative-focused experience, was first made known in 2021 for launch later in the year. While that happened on PC, it’s taken a couple of years for the Switch version to arrive.

World of Horror came to Switch this week following a short delay, and we have new gameplay. Nearly a half hour of footage shows the 1-bit roguelite RPG adventure.

As I reflect on my time spent with Super Mario Bros. Wonder, there truly wasn’t a single moment when I wasn’t having an absolute blast. Any time it seemed impossible that there could possibly be any other surprises left in a game that already had been bombarding me with creative ideas left and right, to my delight, I was always proven wrong. At its core, Super Mario Bros. Wonder is the same joyful platforming adventure that Nintendo has crafted for decades. The key difference this time is that the developers have designed a fundamental sense of novelty into every stage, every new mechanic, every visual flourish. The result is a side-scroller that always feels fresh, fun and exciting in ways that few genre peers have accomplished.

Original (8/22): Bandai Namco has announced Little Nightmares III and we have confirmation it’ll be on Switch. News about the project just dropped during Gamescom: Opening Night Live 2023.

Thus far, Bandai Namco has confirmed that online co-op will be included thanks to the ability to control two characters. Of course, you can play alone as well.
