Locations across Japan will be distributing a free shiny Gardevoir for Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire players, with codes being given out at multiple retailers (including Pokemon Centers, Toys ‘R Us, Bic Camera, Joshin Denki, Edion, Ito-Yokado and Yodobashi Camera) and a direct download available from 7-11’s 7-Spot. This distribution is to celebrate the upcoming movie, Volcanion & The Ingenious Magearna.

Gardevoir will start at Level 50, has the ability Synchronize, and knows Dazzling Gleam, Moonblast, Stored Power and Calm Mind. It will also be holding Gardevoirite, so that it can Mega-Evolve.

Code distribution will be from June 17th to July 8th, although codes can be redeemed through August 31st. Hopefully this opportunity makes its way to other territories.

At this point, there are definitely companies out there who have NX dev kits. There are some others though who still haven’t heard much from Nintendo.

Take these two comments from Skylanders developer Toys for Bob for example:

“We haven’t heard any news from Nintendo, so we don’t have any announcements.” – Paul Yan, Toys for Bob’s associate creative director

“I don’t know what [the NX] is. (Nintendo keeps a) very, very, very, very, very tight lid on everything.” – Lou Studdert, associate producer at Toys for Bob

Miitomo has now been updated with some new content. Nintendo has added in new “I do! Wedding Bliss” stages in Miitomo Drop, which can net you the following items:

– Wedding veil w/ flower crown
– Wedding gown
– Rhinestone necklace
– Rose headpiece
– Rose evening gown
– Chiffon party dress
– Corsage pumps
– Pearly flower pin
– Wedding tuxedo
– Patent tuxedo shoes
– Rose boutonniere

Miitomo Drop stages can be accessed from the Shop tap. Miitomo coins or game tickets are needed to play.

More:

Kick & Fennick is out now for Wii U on the eShop in both North America and Europe. Take a look at the launch trailer below.

Big John Games was close to ending development on video games last summer. But thanks to the success of Cube Creator 3D – notably in Japan – the company is now on the rebound. It’s the eighth best-selling 3DS eShop title in Japan, and it sold ten times as many copies as it had in America.

Thanks to Cube Creator 3D, Big John Games is now able to fund its own projects. The studio is starting out with “Racer Creator” which seems like it will end up on 3DS as well.

Interestingly, Big John Games and Arc System Works – who published Cube Creator 3D in Japan – were invited to a meeting with Nintendo to talk about upcoming projects/partnerships. Big John Games may end up receiving early access to NX as a result. While they wait on a development kit, the company is still working on 3DS, so it’d make sense for Racer Creator to be on that platform.

Ezekiel Rage is gearing up to launch a new game for Wii U going by the name “Citadale: Gate of Souls”. The 8-bit action game is already with Nintendo’s lot check, meaning we should be seeing it on the eShop soon.

Here’s an overview:

Step into the hellouse once again. Citadale is a classic retro 8bit action game in the veins of so many NES classics. Vampires, zombies and other creatures of the night await. What a horrible night to have a curse.

You are Sonja Dorleac, a young woman on a mission to stop the local Dark Lord from plunging the lands into the darkness. Armed with the Shadow Blade, a legendary sword given to her by her husband and her wits, she sets out to restore peace to the lands.

Designed for use with the Wii U gamepad, this game gives you total control over your gameplay experience. The full level layout on the TV allows you to see hidden rooms and enemies that attack from above or below while the gamepad shows you the close surroundings of your character. Switch between different viewpoints to always see what you need to in order to survive the journey.

The game supports Off-TV play, the Wii U Pro Controller, The Wii Remote and the Wii Classic Controller as well as Miiverse posting.

And a trailer:

Update 2: Here’s a statement from 13AM Games about the Amazon listings – we’ll have to see what comes from this:

We’re happy that people are excited about the possibility of a 3DS and retail version of Runbow, but we have to make it clear that this leak is not from 13AM Games and unfortunately contains some misinformation. I wish I could elaborate, but all I can say at this point is that we hope everyone can tune in to E3 this year where 13AM Games will be making some cool new Runbow announcements!
Thanks for the passion and the excitement – Runbow fans are the best.

Update: For Amazon Prime members, Runbow Wii U is $14 off. Obviously an error, so you may want to get an order in now before it’s fixed. Same goes for Tumblestone, but it’s unclear if it’s the Wii U or Xbox One version.

Earlier today, we heard that Runbow is in the works for 3DS via an Amazon listing. Nighthawk Interactive will be publishing this version at retail on September 6. On the same day, Runbow will be getting a physical release for Wii U, according to another Amazon listing.

That may not be all. Yet another listing has popped up from Nighthawk Interactive on Amazon – this time for Tumblestone on Wii U. Here’s the thing: Amazon’s product page is for the Xbox One version, but there’s a Wii U boxart. There’s obviously some sort of mistake there. We’ll let you know if we receive a clarification about the situation.
