New Gameplay Trailer Reveals Exciting Details for
Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha SapphireMega Metagross, New Cosplay Pikachu, and Introduction of Hoenn Characters
BELLEVUE, WA—July 14, 2014—The Pokémon Company International and Nintendo today announced exciting new features and story elements of the Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire games, launching in the United States and Canada on November 21, 2014, for the Nintendo 3DS family of systems. A brand new gameplay trailer has also been released, giving fans a deeper look at what they will discover in their new adventure through the Hoenn region.
New Mega-Evolved Pokémon Mega Metagross!
A new Mega-Evolved Pokémon was revealed today—Mega Metagross. Metagross is the partner Pokémon of Pokémon League Champion Steven, whose deep bond helps it to Mega Evolve into Mega Metagross. Despite helping Trainers throughout their journey, Steven is the last obstacle for Trainers to overcome before becoming the Pokémon League Champion.
As promised, Nintendo today revealed the latest Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS character additions. Lucina and Robin (male/female) from the highly regarded franchise Fire Emblem will be included in the game. Captain Falcon is also returning.
All three characters were shown in a three-minute video that Nintendo debuted today. We’ll have it here soon, along with first screenshots of the new characters.
Warner Bros. Interactive has announced the various pre-order bonuses for LEGO Batman 3.

In one hour from now, Nintendo will be revealing the next character for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS. You can watch the announcement trailer above at 10 AM ET / 7 AM PT.

The first, a swimsuit costume, is available for 99 cents. You can also purchase the Arena Mode for $2, which allows players to take on 20 waves of monsters.

Nintendo is planning maintenance for another round of Wii U and 3DS software today. Wii Sports Club, Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, and even Wii U Chat are among the titles affected. There will also be a five-minute maintenance window for all Wii U/3DS network services later today.

Square Enix has provided a first look at the Freelancers in Final Fantasy Explorers. This starting job allows players to create equipment for their characters by defeating enemies or summoned monsters to obtain raw materials. Getting rare materials is needed in order to receive improved gear.
In related Final Fantasy Explorers news, swords, gloves, staves, rods, axes, spears, and bells are confirmed weapons thus far. The game also features a simple chat system with preset text phrases when playing online with others.
