505 Game, One More Level, All In! Games, 3D Realms, and Slipgate Ironworks have confirmed that the Project_Hel DLC is going live for Ghostrunner on Switch today.

The prequel DLC was announced back in December with a release initially planned for January of this year. However, it ended up seeing a delay and initially launched in March instead. The DLC took slightly longer to ship on Switch.

Ghostrunner Project_Hel expansion delay trailer

The Ghostrunner Project_Hel expansion is seeing a second delay, though this time only on Switch.

The DLC was originally planned for January 27, 2022. Later on though, the release date was moved to March 3. While the new content is live on most platforms, it’s not ready to go on Switch. An announcement notes to keep an eye on the official Ghostrunner Twitter account for updates on the launch for Nintendo’s console, which is planned for “in the near future.”

The big Project_Hel expansion for Ghostrunner has been delayed, and will not release on January 27 as originally planned. 505 Games, One More Level, 3D Realms, Slipgate Ironworks, and All In! Games have shifted the DLC to March 3 instead.

Publishers 505 Games as well as developers and partners One More Level, All In! Games, 3D Realms, and Slipgate Ironworks today announced Project_Hel for Ghostrunner, which will be an expansion for the first-person cyberpunk action game.

Project_Hel lets you play as Hel, one of the original bosses as she descends Dharma Tower on a bloody quest of her own. The announcement notes that “she’s more combat-oriented and can survive an additional attack compared to the Ghostrunner.” The DLC comes with six levels and a new ability progression system, new enemies and bosses to fight, and six new music tracks from electronic musician Daniel Deluxe.

The first-person cyberpunk parkour action game Ghostrunner has been updated on Switch, with players now able to access the roguelite-inspired Wave Mode, an Assist Mode to tune combat difficulty, and a paid synthwave-inspired cosmetic Neon Pack.

Wave Mode features waves of procedurally-generated enemy types in an enclosed arena-style level. Players can complete waves to earn hero upgrades that persist through each round. By surviving 20 rounds, an exclusive sword will be unlocked.

CULTIC

3D Realms and Jasozz Games today announced that CULTIC, an old-school-inspired shooter, is in the works for Switch. A release is slated for 2022.

Graven

The dark-fantasy action-adventure FPS Graven has been given a new trailer that offers up a better look at gameplay. We’ve included the video below.

Ghostrunner is expanding today with new content. Along with free game modes, players can purchase the new Metal Ox Pack for the first-person cyberpunk parkour action game.

There’s more to come for Ghostrunner following its launch last year. 505 Games announced acquisition of the IP this week while the current title will be receiving additional content in the months ahead.

This spring, the first-person cyberpunk action-slasher game will be receiving two new game modes. First up is Kill Run Mode, “a challenging mode where players have limited time to complete levels”. A Photo Mode will be added as well following player feedback. Premium cosmetic DLC is additionally scheduled for this spring, with even more content to come leading into the fall.
