In celebration of releasing Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer, Nintendo UK has created a weekly contest for fans. UK entrants will submit designs based around a theme, and one lucky winner will be picked weekly. The winner will receive a Series 1 Animal Crossing amiibo cards Pack and an Animal Crossing amiibo cards collectors album (series 1).

This week’s theme is “A Blue Room” and will run from October 23rd until October 29th. To enter just share a screenshot of the design to the Nintendo UK Twitter channel.

A recent YouTube video, now removed by Nintendo, shows video game themed items that are not yet accessible in Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer. These include consoles such as the Wii U and 3DS plus shelves of amiibo and video games. It’s thought that the items are included in the game cartridge, but can’t be used until Nintendo unlocks them at some point in the future.

Nintendo has sent out its response to the September 2015 report.

Super Mario Maker was the big winner for the company, as it sold almost 445,000 combined units in the United States between September 11 and October 3. Lifetime sales of the game have now surpassed 500,000 units (September 11 to October 19). Additionally, Wii U hardware sales rose by nearly 110 percent over sales in August thanks to Super Mario Maker.

Nintendo highlighted a couple of other sales figures as well. 3DS hardware sales are up almost 25 percent through the first nine months of 2015 compared to the same time frame in 2014. Also, Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer sold nearly 115,000 total units in its first week on the market.
