Originally announced in V Jump a few days ago, Shoto Todoroki, Ochaco Uraraka, and Tenya Iida are all confirmed for My Hero Academia: One’s Justice. Bandai Namco has now made the news official.

We have screenshots for the three characters below. Information about each one is also included after the break.

New scans emerged this past week for two of Bandai Namco’s anime games. The latest characters were revealed for My Hero Academia: One’s Justice, and Mastered Ultra Instinct Goku was revealed as new DLC in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2.

ShonenGames has now provided translations of both scans. You can find them attached below.

Bandai Namco previously teased that a new form of Goku would be appearing in the next DLC wave for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. This month’s issue of V Jump confirms what most had expected: Ultra Instinct Goku will be offered as a new playable character.

Goku has a ki-charging technique known as “Accelerating Battle Aura”. Even if his rush attack misses, he can spend some energy to quickly perform another attack. V Jump to this as an “ultimate form” and a “peerless form”.

Ochaco Uraraka, Tenya Iida, and Shoto Todoroki have all been confirmed as playable characters in My Hero Academia: One’s Justice in this issue of Weekly Jump. The game is slated for 2018.

Does the name Virtuos ring a bell? If you paid attention to last year’s release of L.A. Noire on Switch, it may sound familiar. Rockstar worked with Virtuos to bring that title to Nintendo’s console.

The same company looks to be behind the release of another notable Switch re-release. Dark Souls: Remastered has been rated in Australia, showing that Virtuos is working on FromSoftware’s classic for Nintendo’s console. Polish studio QLOC has been rumored to be handling the title for other platforms.

Nintendo has just updated One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 Deluxe Edition for Switch which now allow you to use both left and right Joy-Cons for co-op play.

One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 Deluxe Edition launched for Switch last December in Japan. A western release has yet to be announced yet for the game.

Update (2/11): Eurogamer has updated its original report, and says that “Bandai Namco’s Japan studio is also working on the project, with the intention it will now take the lead on its development while Singapore moves to focus on another Switch game”. The site does not elaborate further beyond this. However, Eurogamer now seems to believe that Bandai Namco Japan is the lead studio on Metroid Prime 4 as opposed to Bandai Namco Singapore.

Original (2/9): Rumors of Bandai Namco working on Metroid Prime 4 picked up this week following a discovery on a LinkedIn profile page. This person listed an “unannounced IP (first person shooter/adventure exclusive to the Nintendo Switch)”, which would fit the bill for the project.

Eurogamer now says that Bandai Namco Singapore is indeed behind Metroid Prime 4. The site’s sources say that they’re the “lead studio on the game in collaboration with Nintendo.” Bandai Namco Singapore has some talent from the now defunct LucasArts Singapore, who previously worked on the cancelled Star Wars 1313.

Nintendo has worked with a few third-parties in the past to distribute their games at retail in Europe. Previous examples of this on Switch include Doom, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and the German title Schlag den Star.

Next up will be Dark Souls: Remastered. At retail, Nintendo will behind the game’s distribution on Switch. We don’t have the specifics on the deal, but the game will at least have pricing parity with other platforms at €39.99.
