According to a Bandai Namco representative, there are no plans to bring Tales of the World: Reve Unitia to the west… at least for now. Perhaps that’ll change in the future? Bandai Namco has been more consistent with Tales localizations over the past few years, so maybe a western launch will happen one day.

Bandai Namco recently confirmed that One Piece: Unlimited World Red will be receiving the “Day 1” Edition content on Wii U in North America. Some believed this was a sign that a small retail release would be planned as well.

That’s not actually the case though. Bandai Namco’s J. Kartje said on Twitter recently that Unlimited World Red will still be digital-only on Wii U in the states, but players will still be able to access the “Day 1” bonuses at launch.

A higher-quality Jump scan of Tales of the World: Reve Unitia’s has popped up online. Thanks to the new image, we now know the game’s Japanese release date: October 23.

More Tales of the World: Reve Unitia information will be be announced during Tales of Festival 2014 on June 1.
