CyberConnect2

Several months ago, CyberConnect 2 announced a trio of titles. One of these was Fugue on the Battlefield, a Little Tail Bronx 20th anniversary title.

Fugue on the Battlefield has resurfaced in Famitsu with a Summer 2019 release window. CyberConnect2 president and CEO Hiroshi Matsuyama also provides the following development update:

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Full Burst

Bandai Namco and CyberConnect2 are releasing Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy on Switch this week. Footage from the third game, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Full Burst, can be found below.

If you missed one of our recent file size roundups, you may not have heard about an interesting approach Bandai Namco is taking with Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy on Switch. You’ll be able to purchase the collection itself, but also the individual games.

This could be handy if you played through one of the Naruto titles on other platforms previously and are only interested in certain ones. That means, for example, you’ll be able to purchase Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 on its own. The final file size for the different games are as follows:

Recently announced for Japan, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy for Switch will be getting a western release as well. We’re waiting to hear about North America (presumably we’ll have news later today), but the European launch is also confirmed for April 26. It will be digital-only, unlike Japan.

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy is a compilation of the first three Ultimate Ninja Storm titles that lets players relive the story of Naruto Uzumaki from his days at the Ninja Academy to the 4th Great Ninja War. The package will include many of the DLC released for the original games such as Saskuke’s kimono costume, and allows fans to choose between heroes and villains like Naruto Uzumaki, Saskuke Uchiha, Pain or Obito Uchiha to lead into battle.
